Just surfing around and found your site. I'm forty later this year, and followed the band during the early eighties. I saw them at Port Vale FC in 1981 with Motorhead, Blizzard of Oz heading the bill. I only went to see Frank and the band....I am the proud owner of the studio album releases from 'IV' thru 'Juggernaut'. The early albums were extremely difficult to find over here, even back then. Just Love the 'Live' album which is possibly the most complete live performance I have on record.. it has everything. Talkin' 'bout a feelin'/Electric Reflections/World Anthem medley is probably the single most amazing piece of music ever produced by any band live. Cheers Richard

I am a musician of 34 years, and have followed frank since I knew how to roll a joint!-- Without his actual "Playing Influence", and persistence for originality, We guitar players wouldn't be as good as we are!! we owe It all to him for,"Inspiring" Us!!

In the seventies I played in bands and hung out with different musical types. Mahogany Rush was always a favorite. Glad to see you are still active, I won't miss the new CD.

What can I say about The Man that has not already been said ? I am 37 and have been into Frank's music for a little over 20 years now. His playing, songwriting, singing, words and rhythm section never cease to amaze me. Unfortunately, I caught the band live only once so far, which was in April 1983 on the European leg of the "Juggernaut" tour, in Poperinge, Belgium to be more precise. I still have the ticket, concert poster and shirt to prove it - and am, of course, damn proud of it. Some of my friends who did not go, still envy me for this after all these years. I remember that the band played for nearly three hours and that I just stood there in awe all the time. And no, I was not drunk or stoned ! What disappointed me a little though, was his not playing any songs off "The Power Of Rock And Roll". Along with "What's Next" and "Juggernaut" that one remains my favourite. Don't know why exactly, maybe because he sounds like an "angry young man" on those albums. In my humble opinion, Frank's the only guy out there who can give you that feeling that the guitarist's fingers are actually bleeding, if you catch my drift. Not of this world ! Anyway, I would give one of my testicles to see him live again and maybe meet him in person. If it happens, I would love the band to play "Finish Line", "Running Wild", "Ain't Dead Yet" and "Ditch Queen" amongst others. So come on guys, line up a decent European tour soon ! Cannot wait to hear the new live album. In the mean time I would just like to add this : never give in, keep playing your heart out, stay alive and well - and above all - stick around till I die ! You just would not believe how much your music means to me ! And many thanks, Willy, for all the great work you have done, we all owe you a lot ! P.S. Just in case : check out a band called TROUBLE from Chicago, for Bruce Franklin and Rick Wartell, the band's guitarists, sure know how to write amazing songs and leads that will easily stand the test of time. I seen F.M. last Oct. 2002 at the Tralf. Sparse crowd, Frank played for 3 hours and 20 minutes. It was simply amazing. Best show I've ever seen.

This was my dad's favorite band. He died in a car accident before I was born. So, I'm listening to all the music he used to play, and this was his all-time favorite band. I could see why it was. =)

This is my 3rd or 4th visit here to sign the guestbook...whatever I write each time boils down to these few words..Frank's the best damn guitarist I've heard yet..when it comes to mind boggling, jaw dropping, earth shattering,in your face, ass kicking rock-n-roll,or blues...search no farther than any one of Mahogany Rush's albums or Franks solo efforts and you'll finish listening to it amazed at his playing skills.I managed to see him twice, once in Sacramento & once in Oklahoma City.If you ever get the chance...run,hitch hike, steal a cab,or borrow your grandmas car,but go see the show...your experience isn't complete until then.

This album kicks more ass than any other in my opinion. I have been listening to Frank since '81 and never get tired of his amazing talent as a musician. One thing I am curios about is why Frank doesn't tour the Western Provinces. It would be a dream come true for myself and a wack of my friends to see The Guru live!!!!! A response would be much appreciated. Ps. Courtenay is on Vancouver Island on the Eastern Coast in a beautiful Glacier Valley. This would be a perfect place for Frank to come and vacation and do a solo show in one of the many pubs that would sell out without question. Thanks for the ear. Ray
