Absolutley the most talented six string artist I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. The world of true Rock and Roll music would not be complete without the contributions of Frank Marino. Keep the creations coming! R.Torres

Can't wait to see ya in Nashville. Who would have thought back in 77 when I first heard ya, that I would have a son 8 years later and now he too is a "Frank Fan" and will be seeing you for his first time. 2 generations of "Frank Fans"!!

Frank, I am 45. When I was just a young kid I bought "Mahogany Rush" because I thought the cover was cool. I do not have much recolection of playing it and the album sat in my cabinate for many years collecting dust.

Flash to July 2007: I was at a buddy's house hanging outside on a warm summer eve with other friends and he puts on your Real Live CD. I was floored. I could not beleive what I was hearing. It was without a doubt the finest guitar playing that I ever heard. I immediatly came home and downloaded the whole album. I have not stopped listeneing to it since that day.

Funny story: my friend who was getting drunk kept telling us the album was named; Montreal live. He tried to convince us that in the smoke was the letters MONT. Of course we saw it but we kept telling him that he is out of his mind and that there is no letters MONT in the smoke. He got so crazy that he began flipping out getting a magnifying glass and a flashlight to prove it to us but we kept on playing along that he was imagioning things. he finally went to bed telling us that he must be seeing things and he needs to sleep this feeling off. Best of health to you buddy. David

Hey Frank, I saw you a couple times in Kansas City back in the late 70's. You were fantastic then and you are still fantastic! I'm glad to see you are still doing it live. I wish your tour brought you closer to us. You definitely inspired my guitar playing long ago. I have an SG like yours. Keep Rockin!

Looking forward to seeing Frank live for the first time! I've been a fan since Child of Novelty, just haven't had the chance to see him live. I'm going to the show in Dallas in October. I'm 44 now, but he still kicks ass!

Frank,
The first rock concert I ever attended, there were three bands. Black Sabbath was the headliner, Mahogany Rush, (back then it was Mahogany Rush and not "Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush") and Brownsville Station was the opening act, Brownsville Station was horrible, they were too loud and over distorted, I think the reason for Brownsville Station being so loud and distorted was because they had such crappy guitar players they had to use this tactic to cover up their mistakes. Mahogany Rush came on and brought the house down. Your rendition of Jimi Hendrix' "Star Spangled Banner" at the end was phenominal and of course the audience wanted more and you came out for an encore. Black Sabbath put me to sleep, really, I fell asleep during a concert! The experience was great, and I saw you two more times at the Community Concourse in San Diego. Great Music and your guitar playing is....well, I'm sure you know. ROCK ON FRANK! I hope I can get tickets to see you when you come to San Diego again. I noticed you have a tentative show scheduled.

Hope you will do a blues CD soon. Saw you back in 1978 in San Diego. You were playing as a warm up for someone else, can't remember who it was, who could top what you played??? Anyway, thanks for your inspiration. I continue to play guitar because of you. My kids friends are impressed by what I can play because of you. And I'm not that good. Unfortunately thats the state of music today. Put out a blues CD so I can have something I can point to and have the next generation to strive for. No pressure! Thanks for your inspiration, no matter how bad I play!

I finally caught you live at the cats cradle. To say the show was brilliant is an understatement. ever since i got our Live album 1978 I was blown away by your style expecially the instrumental World Anthem. Your show at the Cats Cradle was spectacular, and your band was fantastic, especially the young kid on violin. it was an honor and a priveledge to be able to see you live. My wife was also blown away by your performance.
You are truly one of the legends of blues and improv rock.
God bless ya.
