Last time I saw Frank Marino was at The Monsters of Rock festival at Castle Donnington. I think Frank was on First and no one knew who he was at the time except me and my mates and he was the main reason we went. Ozzy was also playing and I got the chance to see Randy Rhodes before his untimely demise. Motor Head were also playing. Anyone out there remember this gig and can fill in the gaps year dates etc do drop me a line. I never forgot it because Frank just rocked all these kids who didn,t know him and we got down down down down. Some twenty odd years later I am digitizing all my old vinyl LPs into MP3s and came accross A couple of Franks old records and they still managed to blow me away after all these years. Thinking he must be long gone I rushed to the internet and lo and behold here he is still kicking ass. Good on you mate. Will we ever see you again on British soil? You are an inspiration. Love and Regards Stuss Rollins

Ever since seeing Frank Marino and Mahogony Rush doing NEW rock n roll on the Midnight Special i was hooked or was it Don Kirshners. No matter , i still love the music. I can't stomach comercial radio even the so called classic rock stations, you would we think they only put out the same 200 or 300 songs they force feed you over and over. EVERYONE call up their LOCAL RADIO STATIONS and demand they play Frank Marino and Uriah Heep,, BIG HEEP FAN TO, STAY GROOVY EVERYONE> If anyone is interested check out my web site. Then you will get the TeamLSD. www.angelfire.com/crazy2/oldskool/ don't forget to sign the guestbook HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA

I grew up in Detroit during the late "60's" & "70's"and went to so many concerts from the age of 11 until I moved to SC in "81". I felt like I was in virgin country because no one knew who Mahogany Rush was and I was forever calling R&R stations asking them for "Dragonfly" or "Little Sexy Annie". Not til "94" did I find one who would comply. (and they call themselves DJ's,the nerve,eh?) But I have faithfully taught the masses here(in redneck city) who you all were and they, like me are Forever Fans! Thanks !! My Brothers still whip out their guitars and play your tunes!

My husband, saw you play at Bogart's in Cincinnati, Ohio around '84-'85. A good friend gave him a surprise ticket & beyond thrilled! He went with a group of friends that are still Mahogany Rush fans! He can remember that night down to every detail! Described the bus, too. If he's anywhere near his guitar when tells the story, he can't help but start playing & singing the words to his favorite songs of yours - which seems like ALL of them...He's lucky, I like your music as much as he does to put up with him impersonating you! You're a RARE one - able to sing & play like that at the same time - you deserve MORE exposure on your abilities!

I have just heard MR for the first time on the double CD of the first three albums and I was knocked out. These albums take Hendrix further and show that Hendrix music is a genre in itself just as say 'jazz' is etc.,
