He is the man!!!!!So many awesome memories of this great band. I saw this band in Denver in the early 80's,at a place called Rainbow Music Hall. No longer exist's, and hasn't for a very long time. We were in the second row, right in the middle. Frank was absolutely an amazing musician.(and good looking) It was as good as Jimi Hendricks concert. I would love to replay that night again. My favorite song of Franks is "It's begun to Rain". I have so many great thoughts and feelings when I hear that song. May all of us that have experienced a concert, memory,or just sitting back listening to his tunes, have been influenced in a positive way by his lyrics in our lives. Peace out!!!!!

Hi I am a guitarplayer from Holland and came across The live album I found somewhere in a recordshop, I liked the cover so well lets give it a try. I always like guitars and man he blew me away with his fast playing coudn't believe someone could play that fast and still sounds melodic. I have learned a lott from his playing. I hope Frank keeps on playing. Peace and happiness is all I wish for such a humble and religious man. Greetings from Holland Strat58

I have been a Mahogany Rush fan ever since a friend brought "Mahogany Rush Live" to school right after it came out when we were both seniors in high school in the late 70s - he had it on 8-track & we listened to it in his car & I was hooked. I immediately went & bought my own copy on LP, and soon after bought the first three albums, then IV, & Child of the Novelty. I still have all my MR albums & even though I no longer play guitar (still have my 1967 sunburst Fender Stratocaster, though!), I still have fond memories. I was fortunate enough to see Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush at Cleveland Public Hall, in, I think, 1980. I believe one of the other acts that night was the re-formed Humble Pie. It was the most fantastic show I have ever seen - and I have seen many. If memory serves, it was the night before Easter. I recently found this site & was thrilled that Frank is still at it. I may be a grandfather now, but I look forward to replacing my well-worn LPs of Mahogany Rush with new CD versions to play for my grandson one day. Thanks, Frank, for all the years of great music & those yet to come! Sincerely, Dr. James Buccigross Forensic Psychologist Somerset Bermuda

I've enjoyed Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush since the late 70's when I was in high school. I believe IV was just out then. I've seen him play live in Amsterdam in 83-84 at the Paridisio, awsome concert. I have many favorite songs but I can't help driving like a bat out of hell when Finish Line plays in the car....

Frank you'll always be the greatest in my book. I grew up in the 70's listening to you while I was stationed on an Air Force base in Wyoming in 78. I hope things are good for you. Everytime I hear your music it brings back some of the greatest times in my life. Be Cool Man.

I started listening to you're music in probably around 76.I was a huge Hendrix fan so i suppose it's no strange thing i like you're lick's.I had some strange trips of my own in the day also, but 25 years later found life better straight.

I picked IV because it was the first one I heard when I was a teen but Eye Of The Storm is a close second, I think I have them all except for some of the live stuff. I am a huge fan and I hope to someday see Frank play live. Please come to Pensacola Frank!
