My congratulations to Denyse and Frank who are celebrating the birth of their new daughter. It's amazing that Frank can create another human being in just 9 months, but it takes him over 5 years to finish the new CD!!! I sincerely hope that your new daughters first words will not be, "Hey Dad, how about finishing that new CD"...LOL...God bless your family Frank..your friend, Willy.

Unbelievable!! I cannot believe that I found this website. This is the best site that I have ever seen for an even greater man!! I have been into Frank since 1975 when I bought the Strange Universe album just because it looked cool. Boy was I pleasantly suprised at what I heard. My mom threatened to throw it away because I listened to it so much. I was into Hendrix, Trower, Gallager and Black Sabbath at the time but nothing compared to the sounds the came out of my little Sansui stereo. For many years I spread the gospel on Frank Marino and capitalized on every opportunity to turn on others to his music. Everyone that I ever played it for were overwhelmed by the melodic, hypnotic tunes that displayed some of the best ever guitar playing that they had ever heard. I always thought that maybe there were only a handful of fans that felt as moved by his music as I do, but after reading this site, my dreams have come true...WE ARE NOT ALONE!!! I've seen Frank every time that he has played anywhere near Cleveland since 1976 and I always brought new fans who were always satisfied. I knew that critics don't know shit about music and Frank Marino is living proof. Back then I didn't play guitar, but he is the sole reason that I picked one up and now I am proud to say that I can trade licks with almost anyone, except Frank of course. He is in a league of his own. God bless you Frank and God bless whoever built this site to pay homage to the best guitarist around. What a great website!!!!I have been reborn!! Time to dust off my albums and give the neighbors a taste of genius. I love you Frank Marino, please carry on singin'...buddy.

Seen him 4 times, man can play better than anyone I've ever seen, and I've seen alot. ZAPPA, Trower, Santana, Clapton, Page, No comparison to Frank. And some people say the seventies sucked. They just weren't listening man.

i got turned on to mahogany rush through CJOM a cool radio station in windsor ontario and we used to go see them at the michigan palace. we saw them open for the stoooges and with ted nugent and a few other times. i love franks playing and also loved the other guys in the band at that time, paul harwood and james ayoub ( who i ran into years later when he was jamming with busta cherry from talking heads). we also saw them open for hawkwind in waterbury connecticut. frank was doing a jazzy thing at the internet cafe last night in my new home of nyc but i have a 7 year old and i couldn't go out. but just seeing his name playing so near where i live now reconnected me with some heavy feelings. i have a band now myself, play bass, write songs and sing and learned alot about music from those times with mahogany rush. frank, how are paul harwood, paul levesque, jimmy, jay west, do you still see them? if you do, give them my regards. i will come see you next time you play in nyc. best of luck to you. it's wonderful you are playing and spreading your vibes. love felice (of felice and laura from detroit)

I've been a fan since the ealy days and Frank has always been my favorite guitarists. I remember when I first got "Maxoom", I used to play it for my friends and they'd be blown away with how great it sounded. I'd say that Dagonfly is my favorite song, but I love em all. Frank is certainly one of the great guitar gods of our time. I hope he continues to play for a long time to come. I wish Frank and all his fans the very best. M. Paoloni ( Starbird ).

I've been a big fan for something like eighteen years. In that time, I've heard and seen so many great guitarists - Ricky Medlocke, Billy Gibbons, Frank Zappa, Eddie Van Halen, Ulrich Roth and many others. Alas, I've never seen Frank Marino live - I couldn't make it when he played at Port Vale in the early eighties - but, simply put he is the greatest guitarist I've ever heard. Better than the astounding Ricky Medlocke, the magnificent Billy Gibbons, and better even than - dare I say it - Hendrix himself. Come back to England, Frank! Oh, and if you've got a spare SG, it would look great next to my Dean Cadillac...

You can t say that its only love. It s much more. It was my 17 birthday I was sitting next to our local guitar hero listing to the" power of rocknroll" album and it was the day my whole life and my view of the world changed forever. But it also brought much disapointments, cause till thenI also changed my point of view in playing music. I love you because of your incredible power playing rocknrolland from the moment I had heard you I never wanted toplay anykind of music where I had to lie about my feelings. That was reason No.1 for quitting more bands I can remember and get trouble where ever I played guitar in a band for the last 10 years, but thats OK.But it was not only the music, even the message which is in your lyrics influenced me very much and changed my way of thinking, it led me into another world and I think your are one of the few people who helped me finding God. You are the greatest!!! Thank you very much Frank. I will alwayslove you, even when its a littlte painfull not to stand next to you on stage cause I m only OK when I m playing my RocknRoll...( and sorry for my bad english)

I can remember back in the 70's seeing you about 10 times in Ottawa and Monrtreal. Truly awesome. I played some of your music the other day for my 16 year old kid and his friends and they loved it. If you ever want to jam, I'm a left handed guitar player with long hair, love playing wild lead solos. I'm in the Ottawa area, email me sometime. Maybe we could get together. I've been a fan since Strange Universe came out. Keep on rocking and come play a gig in Ottawa this summer.

If I may be frank, FRANK thanks for the years of inspiration. As a wicked guitar slinger, you make other Canadian guitar players proud to be Canadian. We could go for ever about the "Kick-ass-sound"..and we will. But it will always be just...Thank You FRANK

Hello, I am the President of the High Desert Ridrs MC. Every year we have a charity poker run & bar-b-q for a needy child in our area of southwest Wyoming. This year will be our 7th annual. What I am writingyou about iswho doyou use asyour agent for your booking dates. I know that 1999 is out of the question but weare already planning fornext year. If you could email with the information you never know. I saw you in the early seventies you were the lead off band for Black Sabbath and after hearing you they kind of sucked.
