Frank, I just picked up the October issue of Vintage Guitar Mag. It is a fabulous interview, I can't wait to read the conclusion in the November issue, next month. It's amazing how irresponsible and what outright lier's, certain journalist's and critic's can be. I think you should be awarded a gold album for the "Mahogany Rush Live" album....But I guess that's asking to much of CBS?

In 1981 I was turned on to Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush by a friend and ever since then have used his music as a means of therapy. All of his music has been extremely important in my life, specifically "In My Ways" from the "World Anthem" CD. I also had two goals in my life; 1)To meet Frank Marino, which I did in 1982 in Madison, WI.The otherwas to juggle. (I dont juggle). Anyway, I havebeen a HUGE fan for all these years and as long as Frankcontinues to inspire me in my life I will continue to be his #1 Fan.Bill WittMadison, WI

Frank; If you do read this, I'd just like to say thanks for 25 years of ass-kickin' rock-n-roll. I never miss a chance to turn someone on to your music. By the way, is there anywhere to get another copy of "The Power of Rock and Roll" in any format? I foolishly loaned mine to a guy at work who quit the next day without returning it. Tks.

The first time i seen Frank Marino was at the World Series Of Rock and the Cleveland Stadium in 1974. I loved his style of music. I moved to Detroit Michigan in 1982. From 1982 til1995 i have seen him around 8 times. And i am waiting for him to go on tour again. Is he going out on tour soon , i hope. Until then chow. Ken

I have listened to Frank's powerful guitar playing since the first album. I saw him in Columbus OH my first time at Vet's Memorial where I was blown away by "Strange Universe"! He opened for Nazareth and I left 3 songs into their set because they couldn't hold a candle to the show I had just seen! I saw him later @ The Agora and he was again amazing! I've been able to see my favorite guitarists in the numerous concerts I've been to,but nobody compared to the totally awesome performances of one Frank Marino!! I have been fortunate enough the past couple of years to pick up copies on CD of my favorite early releases of his, after searching & hoping for years that they would be released again! The only way to improve on this would be to see Frank tour again! I visited Ontario twice this year, but I was not in the right place to see his shows! I really need to have a tour schedule when one becomes available. Looking forward to future concerts!!

For me to list everthing i like about Franks music would take moer time than you have to read. But in sort i like his inventiveness and his style (that all balls guitar approach) Weither his is doing a mellow tune say like noreigan wood or a energised tune like Aint dead yet Frank can make you feel each and every note his versatility is amasing I also have great respect for the man becuase even though the "industry" has tried to mold him he always stayed his ground he says what he think in his music regardless of the corp excutives or critics. Another thing that has made me a fan for life is Frank the man i had the honor to met him once in 92 he was a very down to earth man he took the time to talk with me and took a interest in me as a person not just a fan I saw in him a spirit of true kindness that sets him apart from many while there are many guitarist out there there is only one Frank Marino Long may he Rock you

i'm quite new with internet, but it's been great to see how there are a lot of similar thoughts like mine all over the world... i'm from Finland, that is , far from Canada, so even though i myself found FM around 83-84 and saw him on summer of '84 in Helsinki, Finland, i never knew many who would even know his name, not to mention his music... it's great that you all are out there!!! THANK YOU WILLY FOR THIS FINE SITE !! and happy birthday, btw... FRANK: thank you for your music...

Man that was the most difficult thing to do! If there was a "All of the above" choice for Pick your favorite album I would have to choose that. I just wanted to say, Hey Frank can't wait to see you live in Monterey California. My 4 year old son wants to meet you (As do I!) He loves Stories of a hero. He makes me play it at least 3 times before I can play the rest of the tape! So when you come here to Monterey (I'm hoping you come somewhere near here at least!) Could you play Stories of a hero? My boy would NEVER forget the day he got to see Frank play his favorite song live. Of course I'll be bringing my son to the show, he'd never forgive me if I didn't! Thanks Frank! And if you could drop me a email just before your about to play Monterey I'd really appreciate it! Talk to ya soon I hope.... Robert Johnson, Frank Marino & Jimi Hendrix fan P.S. Sorry about a dupe listing. I just noticed I had the wrong URL listed for my web site...
