Hi Frank!

I'm a fan of you since your debut... I saw you in lots of festival in Québec and bars and so on. Since the time you quit...

I was so glad you came back, because for me you're so a gifted musician, you are so passionnate, and one of the best guitar player on the world among the greatest!

Naturally I was this summer at your show on the Plaine d'Abraham in Québec, on the first row and even when you were testing ..before the show I was whistled for you!!. As ZZ top has to perform too...( if It would be me... you could has spend the night there even if ZZ top gave a good show, because when you're playing... you begin unstopable...) you're performance was too short for me!

I wonder when you gone come back to do play guitar all night!

I live in Québec city, so you may come in the city at the Capitol or the Theatre Imperial, or in Montréal... it's not so far! lol! I'm waiting since the Kasmir in oct. 2000 to see you on stage for hours... you are so versatile... you can play anything...

I naturally buy your last album when it came out, and read you book, and saw that you never really rehearsal... I was not surprise.... because we can feel it.... like you explain you play with your feelings...and you jam with your musicians as one. For me you know... music start with feeling.... that's the difference between real musician and musician who play music. You know I saw many many shows in my life... I'm a guitar lovers... and I could tell you, that you are a REAL musician and quite one!!

So it would be so wonderful that you came back in Québec, pleaseeeeeeeeee!

Big hug for you and hope to see you soon, one of your trully fan

God bless you!!! love Francinexx

Beeen years since I hear your music. I remember buying a couple Albums back in the 70s. One think I notice was how much your voice sounded like Jimi Hendrix. I remeber a lot of people asking me what Hendrix record this was, I told them it was Jimi, the singer and group is Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush.

Glad your still going strong wish I could remember the names of those albums I bought back in the 70s. ON Disability so will be a while before I can purchase anything for a while.

I listened to Mahogany Rush in High School 74-76. Frank Marino was and is so far beyond that it is hard to explain. Recently listening to XM Deep Tracks with Mr. Earl Bailey and he was playing Road House Blues. Brought back a flood of memorys. XM is playing several times per week!! smile

Frank, I was wondering about the filming of you and the band, as well as the crowd, at the Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland on October 17, 2005. Is there going to be a live DVD? The crowd was really into it and like you said, "you guys in Cleveland are crazy" we here in Ohio love you and Rock and Roll! Hopefully you do a DVD of past and present material. Some California Jam footage, Don Kirshner's Rock Concert, Uli Roth & The Legends Of Rock tour also. Maybe something like Uli Jon Roth's Historic Performances DVD. Honestly, I don't care when or where it takes place, just as long as, we the fans, can get digitally remastered DVD material! The only material I have is really bad VHS stuff I got off of Ebay and at a record convention. Thanks again for a really great show, Greg.

Saw you at the Dominion theatre in London way back in the 80's-you had no warm up act, came on stage very early and announced that you had a lot of material to get thru----and that was it ,several hours of the best rock playing i have ever seen to date.

Thank you so much for that nite and i am pissed at missing the more recent shows-you really do have a large following of fans over here.

Take care steve

I enjoy the fact that you blew the "atrocious theodocious" ted nugent off the stage at the california jam he is apretty good guitar player but way too opinionated and "self rightious"in his acessment of other guitar players maybe he never used narcotics but what about the tune "mr. jones hangin party" on "survival of the fittest"? "just bring us a rope and we ll supply the dope". I heard of Mahoany rush in 74 before the other band rush. I m also sober now because of the LORD JESUS CHRIST and I want to be agood example to my kids plz exuse the punctuation ect. I m apretty good guitar player myself but should be aheckofa lot better after 37 years of playing maybe in a couple years I ll be as good as you were at your first gig take care bro

Hey Frank.
Last month I saw you perform at Chicago City Limits. Great show. I don't know where you get your stamina. 3 hrs. straight, whew!
I have been playing guitar for 30 years now, and your music is probably the biggest influence in my playing. I never liked the mainstream stuff too much, not enough soul. I always try to keep that in my playing, and with my band, we generally play covers, but, play music that isn't heard too much. We are going to try Finish Line soon, (hope you don't mind) and I hope we can do it justice.
Anyway, thanks for the music. I think you are probably the most underrated rock/jazz guitarist on this planet. It is a shame that a talented person such as yourself is kept on the back burner while idiotic mindless acts such as Brittany Spears and 50 cent make the airwaves in droves. I guess it is just another example of the dumbing down of America.
Oh well, gotta go. My 2 yr old little girl is screaming again. Once again, Thanks for the music, and hopefully you'll come to Chicago or somewhere closeby again. Can't wait to see the show. Mike Fritz.

I hope this dosent sound to bad but I had never heard of you until last week. an old friend turned me on to your 1st 8 albums all at once. Dude you rock. I was mostly into punk back in the 80's but in my pre teen years I was really into sabbath, hendrix, led zepplin and other bands of the genre. I am 100% shocked that this is my 1st experience with your incredible sounds. I am enjoying your albums to the fullest.

I just wanted to say thanx for keeping me consumed with your music all these years. I always wondered what ever became of you, and it never occured to me to put your name into the computer and see what would come up... but I did and here this was. I too have been sober for quite some time now, 22 years, but I do remember enjoying your music both stoned and sober, and I still love it to this day. I was surprised to see you have so many albums out. Many of which I havce never heard of, but I do plan on investing in. Thanx again for the years of enjoyment, Doug McGuire

I FINALLY got to see and meet my favorite guitar hero in Annapolis Maryland in October 2005. What a unbelievable show!! I was blown away by Franks ability to play for close to three solid hours and take his guitar to heights I have never seen by the likes of any other musician. It goes down in the record books and I have seen them all. Lets just hope that Frank will be around with us for many many years and will still have the love to record, play for us and tour. Whats a world without the music of Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush. Frank also is grateful to his fans to meet and sign autographs after the show. Very few do this which says alot about Frank. Anyways if you read this Frank, I was the one who gave you the Jimi Hendrix shirt in Annapolis Maryland after the show. I hope you enjoy it and cant wait to see you in 2006!!

Since I moved to this remote region of the west coast, I haven't been able to see any shows. When I think back to the"good 'ol days", i remember a show you did in San Jose ,CA. @ the Caberat. I took a prospective chick , who had never heard your music before that night. Let's just say, she rocked my world back at my pad in the hot tub. So my hats off to you for getting me laid that night. By the way. Ever plan on a trip to the west coast. Like , lets say Portland?
