Frank,i just want to say that i just bought the new real live disc and it is great. I,ve been doing a lot of listening to Gary Moore lately with his fantastic blues, and i am very excited to hear that you might be doing a blues album. I have to wonder if it would ever be possible for you and Gary to get together for a blues collaboration.Could you just imagine. A couple of the worlds greatest, trading licks to Albert Kings blues at sunrise or Roy Buchannan,s The Messiah will come. I saw you a few years ago in Toronto at a bar i think was called the heaven, and i am wondering if you ever plan on coming back to toronto. We would love to have you back.
Devoted fan forever.Lou(Dave Feely) ps. how is your brother vinnie doing.

I saw Frank play at Port Vale football stadium (1980 I think) and it was an incredible experience. I have since emigrated to Australia but a mate of mine has just seen Frank play at 'Holmfirth' in the UK and reckons it was an excellent set.
Keep on playing and influencing those who listen. People like you have been the reason for me picking up the guitar and learning.

Always enjoyed Frank's music...Remember seeing him looooong time ago on late night TV...probably between 1973-75...on "In Concert" or "Midnight Special...I was blown away...Saw him many times live around the Baltimore/Washington area while growing up including a blistering performance at the Warner Theater...

How can I get on the e-mailing list for future tour and album info...

Thanks,

Billy

Hi Frank. I have been a fan for over 30 years. My 1st experience was in '74 at the Randhurst Ice Arena in Mt. Prospect, IL, where I am originally from. You backed up Heart. I had no clue who Mahogany Rush was. My buddies, who were in ~ the 5th row told me what I could expect from this guy named Frank Marino. They told me that I would never hear the Star Spangled Banner played with such authority and passion (and this guy wasn't even American, but Canadian). Well they were right. The passion and style that rang through the arena was unforgettable. The only person to come close to your arrangement was Marvin Gaye when he entertained Los Angeles before an NBA All Star Game one year with similar passion… The only difference is that he didn’t quite reach the 100 db level. No disrespect to Heart, I love them, but I was so pumped to see them for my first concert and came away with a totally different story to tell my friends. It is not uncommon to hear me singing “I can’t wait to get you in my arms… and kiss ya” to my daughters. I could go on an on, but actually, I need to get back to work.

Thank you for all the great memories and experiences… I hope to see you ROCK Chicago again soon! Jeff Kloster

Hey Frank,

I really enjoyed your concert last week in Nuneaton, it was awesome. 3 hours of wonderful guitarmusic, lovin' every minute of it. Also the way you talked with the fans after the show, proofed you are very close with your audience and that you are a "down-to-earth" rocker.

We (my wife, my son and I) came specially from Belgium to see you and Blackfoot during the rock-weekend in the Queens Hall. I hope you will visit your next time Belgium too, the 'spirit of 66' in Verviers is a perfect venue for this kind of performances.

See you and wish you all the best,
Stephan

Frank,

I love your guitar playing, the incredible sound you have and your singing.
One of my all time favorite songs of yours is "The Answer". "Finish Line" is a song that kicks my ass everytime I listen to it, the lead guitar is very inspiring. I haven't had the privilege of seeing you in concert yet but I know that someday (In the near future I hope) I will. I hope you consider coming to Las Vegas. You totally rock Frank!!!!!!!

Hi frank,i went to s/hampton on the 28th july and you were brilliant. You really are the best in the world at this time.Everyone else is the masters apprentise.I was stood at the front with a tales of the..t-shirt,my mate had a scorpions shirt on.He was gob-smacked and you are now the best in his eyes.We went to the rock n blues the next day to see you again and blackfoot.I still had my tales shirt on and again we were really close to the front.I thought they could let you play longer seeing as a band did'nt play before you.I am sending a pal in oklahoma,hi gerald,a t-shirt from england as he was gutted you were not doing a tour of the USA.If you do tour the USA i'll just have to get a plane ticket.God bless you frank and the band who were great, keep doing your thing and we'll keep supporting you.Kind regards mike hovard.aka Mrfrankmarino.

I was blown away by the conclusion of the Texas Jam..was that 1977...1978...I'm not really sure. Some of those years are a bit fuzzy. But FM & MR wrapped up the show and manypeople were stupid enough to leave early, leaving stagefront real estate wide open.

Fantastic stuff!!!

I wrote to you a couple of years ago begging you to tour over here and you very kindly gave a personal response. Well I could'nt believe it when you announced your UK dates thank you so much. I made it to Holmfirth and it was absolutely inspiring. I saw you at Port Vale in (1981) you being on the bill was the only reason that we went. I also caught you at the 'Legends` show in Newcastle. 3 and a half hours at Holmfirth was absolutely staggering..........thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is just a quick message to Frank,

Thank you again for the kindness you showed Adele & Myself at Holmfirth. Again it was a privelage to listen to your Music and just get lost in it... I have never heard anything like it in the all of my days at attending different concerts and I sincerely hope you felt welcomed by everyone who came to see a master at work?

You are a true Artist and a Gentleman and I wish you all the success you deserve.... and thank you for the pick and for refering to me as your friend that meant the world to me....

Hey! I am happy to find this site.
In Ville Lasalle your band came and played at many different high schools ( Laurier Macdonald, LCH etc..) and I caught all your shows at Place des Nations even the one at the old Forum when Manfred mann was the opening act ( Boy, those mirror balls you had going where out of this world , never seen anything like it afterwards) WOW was what I said each time I left a show and the next morning I would try and copy some of your licks.

I am happy to learn that you are still wooing the crowds.
My best memory Of Mahogany Rush was at California Jam when you kicked everyones ass.

Your the King Bee Baby.

Just witnessed one of the greatest live performances when Frank played at the Rock and Blues Festival on Sunday 31st July. Outstanding quality of music. I have forgotten how good Frank is. Hopefully he will be back on our shores again very soon.

Hey Frank!
Just a note to thank you for a revival in my love of rock and music in general. The other day a friend invited me over for a few pints and started playing music from the late 70's and your work was in the list. I had completely forgotten about one of my favorite albums (Tales of the unexpected). Since then I have been searching for more and more of the music I used to love so much, but time and life had let me pass by and forget! Not again! Thanks for the music and the good memories...

Simply superb show at Nuneaton last night!!

My first time, havng been introduced to Franks playing on album 25 years ago. Well worth the wait. The bands intensity was also superb- That drummer!!
I loved the drum/guitar section, also the blues section - more blues would have been even better.

I am sure that there is a live audience for Frank over here. The Robin 2 club in Wolverhampton would be ideal. I have seen Robin Trower there recently( 500 sell out), Pat Travers, also sold out several times and many others.

Man my hearing is bad today
