smileLooking for ward to seeing you @ The Rex Theatre in Pittsburgh in October! Thanks for the many years of ripping rock n' roll that pierced my soul! It's great to be 48 and to know that I was a part of the magic that was happening way back in the late sixties and early seventies! Hi , Frank!
From a fellow SG player - please come back to Columbus, Ohio! The last time we were going to see you, the show got cancelled. We didn't even know until we were at the door the night of the show. What a major bummer! Would love to see you play "Ain't Dead Yet", "Lady", "Broken Heart Blues", and "Tales Of The Unexpected " live!

Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush Rule the Universe of Sound. Ever since World Anthem (please understand that due to sanctions in the Apartheid Era we missed out on 99% of cool music available to the rest of the planet) I've been craving to hear more of Frank and his fantastic line-ups. Watching the sun go down over the ocean and listening to "Little Lover" is one of my favourite memories of all time.
My other best musician/guitarist/composer is another Frank. Frank Zappa to be exact. Both of you play the SG like God made it specially for you.
Thank you Mr Marino for the incredible highs your sounds have given me and my friends.

Hi Frank
I saw you one time in the Fall of 1974 in St Paul, Mn. You opened
for Golden Earrings. You Blew there Show away. You did mostly
a Hendrix set. I was a Huge Hendrix Fan and owned Child of a Novelty
lp. About half way through the show the lights went down for a couple
of minutes to tune up. Just as the lights were coming up for the 2nd
part of your show I yelled as loud as I could Purple Haze and immediately
the opening notes of Purple Haze started up. It was a great concert
and one of my last for many years to come. My 2nd Child was
Born and 6 more Children would Follow over the next 10 yrs. Yes I was
a Busy man. But this Week I am going to a Concert with my 4 Sons
& 4 Daughters. (North Mississippi Allstars) Dad picks up the Tickets for his
Favorite Musicians regularly. Come back to St Paul Frank and I'll buy 10
Tickets for Me and the Family.
Thanks for the awsome music.

hi Framk & als,

Have you ever wondered where some of your equipement ended up?
Well, remember Richard's Music Store on Sherbooke West in NDG??
I bought a set of drums there way back around 1976 I think, that--you guessed it had a mahogany wood finish, quadra plus (extra toms no bottoms) roger snare ect...and I was told they belonged to the band and now I discover this sight years latter!!! So they must have a vintage meaning/value....I saw your chat page and the big discussion on God and J.C. and you'll be happy to know I'm an ordained priest still playin mostly charity stuff now. And i just moved to TO for the year to be trained as a hospital chaplain. You just never know whereyour musical stuff will end up!!
Take Care,
Fr. Rick

frank, you're the man.

it's been years since i heard about (or thought of) your "NO BS" artistic legacy to the world.

after having been lost for many years, - trapped by cookie-cutter corporate lineups and whatever "flavor-of-the-day" musical offerings currently spoon-fed to the masses, I'm thrilled to learn that you're still pumping it out!

You are the albert einstein of the modern world of music, and we are all awed and humbled by your genius.

if i may, take us back to the basics, and give us an album of raw, ripped-from-the-gut, bottom-of-the-barrel, raunchy, stinky original blues..... if not at my behest, or of your other friends, followers, and fans, do it because you owe it to yourself. smile

Thanks, Godspeed, & ....'see ya on the road'

peace.

Dear Frank: I have to tell you how happy I am you released the realLIVE album. What a force to be dealt with, your skills have reached even higher, when I thought you had maxed out ! The album is simply tremendous. I am a long time fan and saw you perform many different times in the chicago area back in the day, 70's and 80's. I plan on trying to make it to the show in October this year. Hopefully your air play on satellite radio gets you the fan base you so sorely have deserved over the years. How about a new studio album !!??

KEEP IT COMING !
