To this day, 3 songs off this album branded my brain with the surreal sound my subconscience searched for. With the rolling riffs & staccato chops on 'Tales from a Spanish Warrior', the glass scratching, searing slides in 'Dear Music' along with the unearthly pounding culminating in the supernatural narrative of 'Land of a Thousand Nights', these slices of vinyl set the benchmark for guitarwork (and purpetuated my twin brother & I's eclectic taste of very early alternative, much admired by friends & aquaintances). No doubt, these cuts had to have been ripped from a far section of the universe. Thanks forever Frank........Bret

I would like to say that Frank has a gift from God.I feel it from the soul,he's got such a sense of timing.He's got the same sense of direction Elvis had,Raw energy,from the heart and soul.I would like to think frank for all of his heart felt music,it worked.

Have been a fan of Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush sine 1979. I was introduced to his music by my late brother in law & friend. I love his style of music and I think he is one of the best guitar players in the world. Strangely, my sister's new boyfriend, Marc Reece, is also a very talented guitar player and also plays quite a few Hendrix songs. I am looking forward to replace my old LP's with Cd's and also add the his newer music that had not heard to my collection

The Jazz Fusion and The Blues redefined await you but you waste precious time!!!! You can deny it and you will never be free of wander lust and you will never have satisfaction until you organize the event but the glory always is goes to God.The petty will always voice their ego dues but such maddness color these times.The other rockers are trapped by the stumbling blocks awarded them.Seek answers not on their terms but let soul light shine though the money are fragmented.The scowls of the petty are nothing but reflections of demon banter of no movement forward. Hi! The first time I heard of Frank and the band was in the end of the 70´s when a friend played the Live-album to me, and was immediately hooked! I then saw the band in the early 80´s in Stockholm and it´s up to this day the far best concert I have ever seen! Hope that Frank and the guys will return to my country sometime not to far in the future again to really rock us loose. Will forever have a speciall place in my heart for your music! The first time i saw Frank was in a club in Atlanta along with Kansas. I was hooked and turned alot of friends on to this great rock band.

Attention !!!!! Like most people its time for the quest to unknown sounds and to be a good sheperd to Gods flock.So lets get it together and rock it allright !!! Then string tention and the tuning is another but to invent the new type guitar and effects and combo deals are just the begining of this evolution, so hold your ever freaking mind cause it is happening baby!!!!!!!! My friends and I discovered Frank Marino in high school, along with a lot of other hard rock bands. I just recently listened to Juggernaut again after many years, and must say that Frank is one of the best hard rock guitarists of all time, with great tone, soul and dexterity all together. Thanks for creating this great web site as a proper tribute, and am looking forward to the box set release!

I was recently re-alphabetizing my CD collection when I came across the Live CD. I played it and thoroughly enjoyed it again. I was thinking about how great it would be to see Mahogany Rush live. I had the pleasure of seeing Edgar Winter a few years ago, and Dicky Betts of Allman bros. fame last summer as well as Lynyrd Skynyrd. I was into music at a very young age,but not old enough to go to the shows. I have to pray now that they are still alive and still performing. I hope some tours are scheduled for the New England area this year. I will keep looking...Meanwhile...Keep Rockin' Bonnie

it has been years since i have thought about this band mahogany rush. i guess as time passes by life comes full circle. there is a certain comfort in returning to those things that defined our youth 30 years ago. sorry i strayed away from the music that gave me so much comfort. i am returning to the things that made me happy and mahagony rush was a big part of my musical happiness.
