I was first introduced to Mr.Marino's music when he was the opener for Ted Nugent in NewHaven, CT back @ 1978. He wondered on stage with a Gibson SG, I knew that what was to come was going to be impressive and it was. The tune, "Tales of the Unexpected", to this day still, is very impressive. One of these days I am going to learn to play that. I have a 72 SG, why not. Thanks, Mr.Marino, for the inspiration.....

Iwas born in 1953.I can relate to a lot of what you've been thru, especially the drugs & 7th grade schoolling.I educated myself over the years.I was (and still am)into the music of the 60's&70's.I want to congratulate you for your sobriety.I unfortunately have been struggling with addiction most of my life.O.D.A.A.T. Anyhow, back to you.I have been a fan of yours for many years. I hope sometime in my lifetime to see you perform "live".God Bless & remember-you're never to old to rock!!! P.S.(we'll see JIMI again one day).

It is quite cool to browse your site and get flashes of years gone by.I enjoyed seing you come more and more into your own. Dont get me wrong I LOVE Hendrix music (Electric Ladyland-quite a masterpiece) but your heart/guitar and a lot to say on it's own. Paul underwood was great on bass and Ayoub did his best, but was the weaker link. My life has gone through a lot of changes but OH do I ever appreciate your music when I get exposed to it. I saw you LIVE quite a few years back in Bromont Quebec (around 78-79....) Quite the Experience I must say!!!!! Frank, do you have a family, some sweet women (foxy Lady) and are you still very active on the road...... I,d love to see a concert of yours...Live.... (at the fine age of 44).but like I said ....I dont know if you still get out on the road. I would greatly appreciate an answer back from you Frank... please drop me an email...please at pdesja@lacitec.on.ca....It's my wifes e-mail address!!! Thank for the excellent music (some i would classify as masterpieces) An old guitarist fan of yours. Cheers!!!!!! JC

one more thing. the hendrix rap he got has to be for the narrow minded. in lansing i heard wes montgomery style octave playing and some cool jazzzy variations. also the way he started red house i'd love to have in my collection. we all thought it was stormy monday , but the master rolled it into redhouse. smooth and mellow.and the organ sound he produced was actually bach dorian tocctta and fugue. phantom of the opera would have ran scared. it was monstrous in sonic measure.too many facets to give a complete report of his style. but it's his style.no one else's.

while there is no best guitarist. Frank will Never be out played. music is a matter of taste .i lost maxoom somewhere between okinawa and the vietnam evacuation 1975. child of a novelty was every thing my mind was looking for. i thought while over sea's that this is what the world is waiting for.after catching his show in lansing and reading the liner notes from eye of the storm, i realize that if frank can commit openly and sing about the great creator of all things.i better find a church.most rock stars after a show run off as if they made their paper and now on to get some more else where. like a brother , he stuck his hand out for to shake after the show. you got some Q&A and something personal out of it.he signed my union card, and cd. i told him i didn't want to be greedy. but the stewart would be checking cards on monday and i'd like for him to see the name FRANK MARINO on front.thanks Frank for being the coolest of the cool. God Bless you and Mahogany Rush real good.it was apleasure and a privaledge to experience your show, if you don't have a hemi stay home.you show do a video for the christain rock movement. but i know you are about truth. so the intent has to be there. i know you intend to spread the word,he's calling!

I just recently saw Frank at a club in the suburbs, it had been about eight years since I had last seen him. What a treat! He played for three hours and rocked the house! He did'nt sing too much because he was under the weather but played non stop. What a guitar master..... Thanks! Scott 10/6/02

Frank Marino is a great guitarist who does'nt get the credit he deserves. Hendrix would be proud of Frank but Franks style is unique. i am influenced more by Robin Trower and SRV, Both those guys have real deep feeling in their playing. Still trying to decide whether i like Frank or Robins live cut of King/Hoseas Rock . Frank we all love your albums .you are legendary.

I've been listening to your music now for about 25 years. It was Oct 3 and you were playing at Shank Hall in Milwaukee, WI. It was also my 45th birthday and a friend and I came to see you play. I had never heard you live and in person until that night. I have just one thing to say, thank you for performing the BEST concert I have ever seen it was a great present. My 11 year old son is taking lessions and I wish he could have been there to see you play. You are a true master of the guitar. Thank you.
