I saw Mahaogany Rush in Newcastle on 8th December 1977 and like almost everyone that night was blown away. Getting hold of Frank's cd's here is not too easy, but have slowly managed to update all my vinyl releases. My wife is a Colombian and on a recent 3 month vacation to Barranquilla, I was introduced to several guys around 20 - 25 years of age, I am now 40 !!! and they heard my tape of World Anthem and Live and they thought they had died and gone to heaven. Frank is a big hit in northern Colombia amongst the rock fans in clubs like "Tacuba" and amongst a few of the local bands I met. Keep the faith and if possible, come back to Newcastle, we would love to see you again. Michael.

i have to say that when this album(the power of rock-n-roll) was released i totally dug it and so did all of my friends. i was living in the S.F. Bay Area at the time and couldn't wait for frank to come around again so i could check this stuff out live. and when i saw him at the kabuki night club in San Fran he didn't play one tune from the album at all, and the three or four times i saw him after that - still nothing. why was i never blessed to hear any cut from that particular release?

I've never had a problem deciding what to pick as my favorite album for a recording artist except when it comes to Frank Marino.I've picked the "Live" album before only because of the blistering guitar licks that this master lays down for the fans. Each and every C.D. or album(my, how times change)has something unique to savor and be glad that Frank didn't become a carpenter(like me)or a dishwasher or waitor in a fancy Canadian restaurant. There are very few musicians who can make you wish you could trade places with them.....Mr.Frank Marino just happens to be one of them for me.Like Willy Parsons,I wish that he would have received the recognition he deserves at a much earlier time but then he probably would have had to sacrifice the quality for the commercialism so to that I say....KEEP PLAYIN' WITH SOUL,Frank and to Hell with the experts.

My most memorable experience at one of Franks' concerts was from 1982 or 1983 in Detroit when he warmed up fellow Canadian rockers Triumph. Frank blew everyone away! Rick Emmett from Triumph exclaimed "Franks' a hard act to follow, but we're gonna try!" Needless to say, Frank ruled!!!

Picked up the 1st MH album back in 73 before going to Montreal for vacation. Wore the album right through and had a hell of a time replacing it on CD. Saw Frank here in Wpg. twice. Once warming up Nazarath (played nothing but Hendrix ... 1/2 hr jam on RedHouse) and once at the Playhouse (nothing but original material) with Moxy (etch!). Both shows were amazing and FM & MR blew the other acts off the stage.

Frank: I worked for you (through See Factor Ind. Inc.) in the late '70s replacing Sue as lighting director/designer. If Elliot S. is still around, give him my best. Best as well to you and Paul, Ira Forman and all the rest of us poor bastards. Surfing the net, I came upon this sight. Good job. Continue doing well, Enjoy what life has to give...We all grew up too soon.

I saw Frank play only once, at a club in Scotia, NY (near Albany) circa '83-'84. Awesome. Please come to the Capital District of NY on the next tour. Northern Lights in Clifton Park, NY would be a great place to play. I found the website by accident while looking on CD NOW for Juggernaut. Happy to see you're alive and well and still kickin' it out. Best of Luck. Len Tollerton

Frank, You probably don't remember me, but years ago, I had the chance to jam with you, but I can't remember where. My name is Terry Parsons, and I'm from Oklahoma. I once had a band called "E-Z", if that helps. Glad to see you doing so well. Luck and Blessings. Terry

I've listened to Frank and his explosive guitar styeling's since 1974 and his music has always sent a shot to my soulwhen I needed it most...and seeing him live is evev more of a RUSH. Many nights at the Aragon Ballroom...Bicentenial Jam in Rockford Il...(fought my way to the front of the stage during The Star Spangled Banner)to the House of Blues July 27 2000 never ever a disapointment.Anyone I've ever turned Frank's music to was blown away and wondered where they themselves have been. When I listen to some of the crap we are forced to listen to hear today, I thank God for the 60's and 70's and to Frank for holding and waving his freak flag high...wave on...wave on.MORE...oncor at the Aragon 1974. That tune floored us. Thanx Frank and crew...
