I've listened to Frank and his explosive guitar styeling's since 1974 and his music has always sent a shot to my soulwhen I needed it most...and seeing him live is evev more of a RUSH. Many nights at the Aragon Ballroom...Bicentenial Jam in Rockford Il...(fought my way to the front of the stage during The Star Spangled Banner)to the House of Blues July 27 2000 never ever a disapointment.Anyone I've ever turned Frank's music to was blown away and wondered where they themselves have been. When I listen to some of the crap we are forced to listen to hear today, I thank God for the 60's and 70's and to Frank for holding and waving his freak flag high...wave on...wave on.MORE...oncor at the Aragon 1974. That tune floored us. Thanx Frank and crew...

1978 I think. You opened for Aerosmith in Birmingham Al. You sounded great but Aerosmith sounded too distorted or something. Play at Pensacola some time. Van

Cannot wait to hear Frank put together a blues album! It will earn a spot of distinction in my collection, right next to my Hendrix does the blues! I guess what impresses me most about Frank is not only his incredible talent, but his humbleness about it.Just another one of us who happens to wield a mean axe. That makes it seem worthwhile holding near and dear his music for lo these many years!Rock On!

I've never had the privilege of experiencing F.M. live. Is Frank touring anytime soon? Near Detroit, Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, or Fort Wayne? Been diggin' F.M. sinc '80 when I listened to my older bro's CalJam LP. Am currently trying to complete F.M. vinyl collection. Not an easy task. The one's who know don't let go of these precious jewels. FRANK ROCKS!!!! It is truly a Strange Universe out here but it seems that all we really need is a little more peace, love, understanding and a lot more Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush! I'll never tire of purveying the "phat tracks" F.M. lays down with his " bad axe". Peace and Prosperity wished to all who peruse these fine lines of mahogany wine.

Tales only cause it was my first. What a tough choice! Great site Willy. Saw Frank 2 nights here once. Phenomenal!I used to go to Sam the Record Man after school everyday and pester them for Franks stuff, and when Frank came to town 'ol Dave Porter from Sams was his now label rep, so he whisked me backstage to hang out. Frank is a great guy. Your playing has always inspired me. Hope you tour in Eastern Canada this year. Thanks to ebay and napster I can finally get the out of print stuff and turn some young guys on to your music who'd never heard of you and can't believe you're Canadian! Hope the girls are well - I just had one last month. Play it like you feel it!

Does anyone know where to go to download Mahogany Rush album covers to use as desktop wallpaper/screensavers? As for Frank....what more can be said about his ability to send chills down your spine with his axe skills & make you wish you had half his talent.Envious?....hell yes I am.Keep rockin F.M. You'll always have fans waitin to here your next c.d. Best live song ever recorded:Johny B. Goode. Best studio song ever recorded:Land of a Thousand Nights. Just one humble fans opinion.

WE BOTH AGREED THAT FRANK IS ONE OF THE GREATEST GUITARISTS TO EVER GRACE OUR PRESENCE(EARS), AS WELL AS PROBABLY THE MOST UNDERRATED GUITARIST OF OUR TIME. SOMETHIN'S COMIN'OUR WAY HAS ONE OF THE GREATEST SOLOS OF ALL TIME!WELCOME BACK FRANK! PLAY ON!!!

Wow, I didn't know that there were so many fans of the Guitar aficionado that is "Frank Marino". I remember exactly where I was when I 1st heard this fantastic artist. Pulling out of Rita's house, riding in the back of Marks new Camaro, fully equiped with a "SuperTuner" and "Mindblower" speakers. Then, the best version of "Johnny B. Goode" ever, Rocks my Ass! Went and bought the Album the next day and have been enamored with his Guitar Prowess ever since.

I heard Frank for the first time app. 20 years ago in the BFBS "Heavy Metal (radio) Show" (the song was Juggernaut)and was amazed. Since then I bought everything I could get and became really addicted. All that time I waited for a live show around here. Nothing happened and this is really disappointing. Come on Frank, you can make many people's dreams come true ! Greetings and respect from John

Saw you at the American theatre in St. Louis in 1977. I was 22 and had been playing guitar for 10 years. When I left I was crushed because I realized I would never play guitar as good as Frank Marino. A true original, your sound and style are unmistakeable. A tremendous electric blues player, but seemingly capable of any style. As my friend B.S. Benz says whenever we play you - Simply Frank! Hats off to you Frank, you got some chops! P.S. Regarding my guitar playing - I keep on "Tryin' Anyway".
