Hey, I'm just starting to check out Frank's music. I read and article in guitar world magazine with Zakk Wylde. It stated that the cd Zakk is currently listening to and his favorite cd of all time was on of Frank's. I'm very impressed with what I've heard so far. I just stopped by to learn more about the history of Frank and the band. Thanks for the info. oh yeah, Zakk is my hero smile

Hey all!!! I just want to say that I am a huge fan and I want Frank to come to Indiana. I have yet to get the full catalogue of his work, I only have a recorded copy of "What's Next" I love it but need more!! I love "Tales of The Unexpected" and "Juggernaut" and I am greatful for the two hour bootleg VHS that I own, it has performances from Don Kirshner's, a TV show from Japan, and the killer California Jam concert!! Frank if you're out there, I'd love for you to drop me a line!!! God Bless

My dad has been a long time fan of Frank and Mahogany Rush. For years I have heard him talk of the times he saw the band perform flawlessly in Houston in the 70's and 80's. My dad has always told me there is no comparable guitarist to Frank Marino if you ever had the opportunity to witness him "shake the strings". I finally listened to one of his CD's while I was visiting him last weekend. Now I know what my dad has known for years...FRANK RULES!!! Make a trip to Houston so I can catch the show with my dad. I'm here at my dad's again listening to "What's Next" as I send this message. Rock on Frank!

Hello and cheers mates!!! I believe that Marino is one of the very few artists of the '70s that remained true to himself and his music, offering us excellent works of art through all of these years. He is a great inspiration and guide for me and a big thank you is not enough! Dionissis P.S.:If only a distributor could bring "Eye Of The Storm" in Hellas...

The first time i saw Frank Paul&jimmy was opening up for Areosmith at the long beach arena I was right about 25 rows back on the floor let me tell you they totally blew me away! having been to approx. 75 or so rock shows up to that point . I believe he was talkin to me when he informed the crowd they and Triumvirat would be playing the santa monica civic in the upcoming month sept that year whatever it was? at the santa monica civic that night the crowd was informed that triumvirat had been drafted in the german army and would not be preforming tonight ,but frank &the boys would be playing an extra long show to make up for it!(I was so impressed with the long beach show that i bought 15 tickets to distribute to all the rock n roll freaks that i hung out with from our little suburb of east l.a.,starting with that act I have turned on so many people to your band you would be proud!)anyhow back to the show!starting with strange universe the fog behind the screen wich lifted up was so intense you could barley see the amp lights fell over the crowd like a wave like nothing anybody had ever seen! the baloons the disco ball lights whew! i could go on... also i recall it was 5 years to the day Hendrix died and they did a tribute that i could barly fathom suffice it to say i`ve been a loyal fan ever since sadly the last show i saw was also santa monica on the juggernaut tour i am so glad to hear your still touring please come to las vegas!luv ya! Frank Marino is not only one of the greatest guitarists ever to strap one on, he is also one of the truely great composers of our time as well. I've been a professional guitarist for many years and Frank Marino still stands as one of the greatest of the twentieth century and beyond. His inspiration to me is immense and I thank him for it. I currently play guitar for Xylina (an incredible female vocalist) and soon hope to be signed. If that happens I would love to someday meet one of my heroes... the man with the guitar... Mr. Frank Marino! Lots of people keep telling me how I turned them on to Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush, but as I keep telling them back, all I did was play the albums and cd's so people would hear, Frank did the rest! Thanks for all the great music and I'm so glad he's out jammin'again. Sincerely, Damien Benz

As a Child of the Seventies, I can't say enough about his music. You listen to it and conjure up visions, not to mention memories. I can definately hear the influences in his music (Hendrix, Cipollina), and maybe that is part of the mystique surrounding him. I'm so glad he's still around to keep that (music) living.

I've been a fan of Frank's music since 1976, and still am. What more can I say. I have been looking for Frank,s sheet music, or any instructional videos on guitar theory by Frank. Please send info if it is available.

To tell you the truth, I haven't listened to Franks music for many years. Back in 1980 at Alpine Valley in Wisconsin, I attended one of his shows. What's Next, I believe was his most recent release at the time. Frank had a excellent style and at that time I considered him to be one of the best guitarist alived. Remember Eddie Van Halen was coming into his own at that time and Richie Blackmore was at the top of his game. Anyway that show was one of the few that I remember vividly. I had never seen anyone play the guitar with his teeth before. This memory has never left me. The strange thing is that shortly after that concert the radios quit playing his music in Milwaukee. Rumors of him calling it quits started because apparently he was sick of hearing everyone comparing him to Hendrix. He started fading away. I tried turning others on to his music but with no success. ...Well I happened to be looking for a band called Moon Dog Mane(which has ex-Tesla members in it) and ran into a link called http://www.hardradio.com/links/linksm.html and saw this site. It's so cool that he's still pumping out the tunes. If he ever comes to St. Louis, I'm there!!! I will use this site religiously to keep up to date. This site hs also sparked my interest in listening to Franks music again. I will head out after work to pick up one of his CD's(the only thing I have at home is in album format).

Hiya! I've been a fan of Frank Marino since Fall 1979. Frank Marino (& Mahogany Rush) is (are) one of few heavy rock'n'rollers that I like (the others are Led Zeppelin, Mountain, Hawkwind and Grand Funk Railroad)!!! My number one wish is that Frank will make an album of jazzy heavy-blues, cause the tune that made me a fan was the title tune of Tales Of The Unexpected and I really love that jazzy-guitar in it. Unfortunately I've never seen Frank live - I missed the Karlshamn-show in '93, even if that little town is no more than about 100 kilometers south of my hometown. I heard about the show though from a friend who went there. When he came back he wanted me to do him a tape of Marino-music, which I did. PS! One record that I can't see mentioned anywhere here is a two-record set from 1982, issued by King Biscuit. I don't have it myself though, but I've seen it for sale a couple of times. Otherwise I have every Frank Marino record except Maxoom. I know it's released on CD, but I would like to have it on vinyl AND since I'm not willing to pay more than about 20 US-dollars for a copy in mint condition, I guess I have to wait .....
