Hi, the question about a favorite album is hard to answer because they all are my favorits.
I have been listening Frank Marino since the beginnings and i am also 61 years old. Now in this times of so (too) much shitty music i am missing a new album by FM. Hey man keep on playing - there is something missing!

I saw Mahogany Rush at Liberty Hall in El Paso Texas in the late 70s. The price per ticket for this concert was $3.00. That was the least amount that I have every paid for a concert although it was the best concert that I have ever seen. Keep rocking Frank, your music is incredible.

Dear Mister Marino,

Been a fan since 1978, when a fellow guitarist in a basement band, Dino, (high school) , introduced me to your music. He was a hard core fan; always played "I'm a King Bee" during our jam sessions. Then I saw California Jam II on TV; What can I say? Our little band was three Italian guys playing Rock and Metal-jean vests and everything. I never got to see you live, but hope to some day; heck, I'll even fly to Montreal smile. Thanks for keeping the guitar solo alive and well.

P.S. My dad's first name was Marino; always felt a kind of connection. All the best to you and your family. Cento anni.

Peace bro.....I have been listening to your music since the beginning. I have never seen you live so your live albums will have to do. If you ever plan on a future Canadian tour, be nice to see your show in Alberta. Who knows, amazing things happens all the time in this life. Peace bro. John smile

Hey Frank
I was present when you played in Glover Vermont. What A Crowd, Spent a couple hours trying to get my 60 Vette out of the muddy field, but wouldn't have missed the day of great music and other activities, mainly lots of booze in those days.

Ever coming back to Vermont?

Trying to choose my favorite album is like asking a parent to choose their favorite child. I discovered Frank in the summer of 1975. I remember hearing a commercial on FM radio that had an excerpt from "All in Your Mind" off the Maxoom album. Frank had two albums out at the time and I bought Maxoom and Child of the Novelty the same day. I went to the show at the old Sports Arena in Toledo, Ohio. The place was a dump but the music was mind blowing.
I became an alcolyte of Frank and played his music to anyone that would listen. Being a bassist myself, I appreciated how much 3 guys could get so damn much sound. I have every album you have done and I had a chance to see you two more times since then. Once was in Phoenix, Arizona in the early eighties and the last time was at the House of Blues in Chicago in 2001. That was the capper for me. My wife bought my brother and I tickets for the show, as well as train tickets from Ohio along with a hotel for the night. Best birthday ever! We had backstage passes. About 20 people were lined up to meet and greet Frank. We were at the back of the line. Just then the door behind us opened and Frank walked in. I heard him say "All these people are here to see me?" in a soft voice. I went from being last in line to first in line. It was a chance to say a sincere thank you for all the music he had created for his fans. What a show---what a humble guy--and what a guitar player!! Thank you Frank from the bottom of my heart.

Dear Frank
Hope you are well I just thought of you out of thin air and decided to see if you were still with us
I remember going to your show in Fayetteville NC in 1978 or 79
Jimi Hendrix actually got kicked off the same stage you had played on many years before I was about 15 years old when I saw you play You were dressed in white and I thought God had sent an angel to all of us there You and Mahogany Rush were
absolutely untouchable I always thought you never got the recognition you had deserved God be with you Thank you
