Frank, I wish kids today had a chance to see you perform, they haven't a clue how to play an instrument, it's all electronics. You are still in my opinion the best guitarist alive. What a pleasure it has been over the years to listen to your music. What a bad-ass you are on the guitar. There will never be another to take your place in the music world. What a shame. Wherever you are, THANKS.

I've been a fan since Maxoom, which were my days spent in the Air Force, back in the 70's. Got to see Mahogany Rush at the Louisville Summer Jam in 77, at a baseball stadium with Starcastle, Frank and co. Ted Nugent, and Journey It was a very hot summer day. This was the Journey with Steve Perry, [that went Strictly Commercial] not like those 1st 3 albums. This was the 1st and only time I got to see Mahogany Rush live. For only three musicians, they surely filled that stadium with awesome music. I always liked the Tales album, especially Norwiegan Wood. I hope you tour again Frank, and play somewhere in Michigan. We have a Cherry Festival every year during the 1st week in July. Would love to see a show with Frank Marino! Take care and God Bless, Bill Stark

A lot of the greats have passed to soon, Alvin Lee, Rory Gallagher, Ronnie James Dio, and so on. I am thankful you're still, Alive and well! Also, how could I forget Johnny Winter. RIP to all!

Mr. Marino!

I still remember where I was and what I was doing the first time I heard your phenomanal live album. I was 14 in 1979 and my cousin from Georgia was 16. He had bought your album and we were blown away by your musicianship. I just re bought the live album about a year ago in iTunes and, being a musician myself, I gain more respect for your talent every time I listen.

Have a wonderful holiday season and thanks for the memories sir!

Mike

Frank please tour again especially in Michigan. That show at magic bag and St.Andrews hall was proof why you are the best. I have followed you since mid seventies wish I could have seen you perform more and met you. Your style and sound rocks along with the shredding. Listen daily to some sort of Frank at work or home . GOD BLESS

Still a huge fan since I saw you (on TV) at Cal Jam II. I was just starting to get into music at that time and was blown away by your performance, which introduced me to a whole new world! Keep playing, keep it hard, and come to Colorado!!

Nice to be a part of this group. My only hope is that some day F.M. gets the credit he deserves for his abilities and be appreciated for his 45 years of innovative musicianship. Far too many people are ignorant to his mere existence. Will justice ever be served!!

I live in las vegas am 67 yrs. old. I have been into r&r since the 60's and I've never heard your music until recently. somewhere I bought the album frank marino/ mahogany rush/ live, 1978 cbs. I was shaving listening to the album and as I heard the music at first I thought I was having a flashback. I stopped everything and looked at the disc. it was you. I think I missed the boat on you. I managed a few bands in the san Francisco area in the late 70's. now that I've read your bio I will find some of your other albums. I am knowing alto nova but that was early 80's. I look forward to listening to your other albums. best of life. john anderson

First time I heard Frank Marino was 35 years ago . I was 15. I saw him on the Cal Jam tour and couldn't believe what I was seeing and hearing. I ran out and bought the Mahogany Rush Live album (1978) and wore out 3 of these albums trying to learn his licks on guitar. He's probably one of the original gun slingers that far too few people even know about. How is that freekin possible!!!!! He will never get the respect or public attention he so deserves and that is a very sad thing. So many professional and well known guitarists today site him as a major influence on their playing. The word needs to be spread for the sake of music prosperity. I know I do. There will never be another Frank Marino and that's a good thing. Come to Jersey Frank. I've waited 7 years since the last tour!!!!!

You are one of my favorite guitar players of all time. I saw you back in the 80's at the Yellow Rose, that was one of the best concerts I ever witnessed. As I watched you play it seemed as if you had taken my soul out of my body and I was floating. I had the pleasure of seeing you again about 5 years ago here in Corpus, wow what a magnificent opportunity that was. Your music will live on forever.

Thank you for all the great years and memories.

Hard to pick a favorite album between Live 78 and Juggenaut as both are totally awesome.

Saw you in Columbus, GA in 1977 with Nazareth. Total bummer you were the opening act as after watching you, Nazareth flat out stunk!

I'll never forget you playing Hendrix and lighting your guitar on fire and walking off stage as it hummed and reverberated for several minutes!

Speaking of Hendrix, don't know about those rumors but you flat could out play him any day of the week.

Hope you're still rocking some where (other than a chair)
