I can't pick a favorite album. I like them all. I almost got to meet you in the 70's. My wife worked at the Horseshoe Casino in Las Vegas she took you and some others up to the top of the parking garage to smoke some pot. She was going to take you home but the manager or someone intervened and said you had other things to do. Sometime later we were at the record store and she said look its that Band. And I bought my first Frank Marino! album.
WOW!! I came so close to meeting you. Not getting to meet you has been one of my great disappointments, I was so close. I still tell this story today when sharing Frank Marino with someone that hasn't experienced FRANK MARINO & MAHOGANY RUSH.
Thank you, for the experience . Mick Blackmore

so we are still hanging on for the dvd ! itll be so welcome when we get it as I just read the midland rocks guys reviewing mahogany rush albums and I have never heard such dribble in all my life...these guys who write this stuff are the guys who we all know...they listen to status Qou and freak out on its complexities...While thinking how wild they are coz there hair is down to there shoulders! and these guys write about bands all the time. Maybe if they watch the band they may realise. Hay these guys are phenomenal!
so Just saying..really want to see the dvd Frank...o and does anyone know were the BOG Company got there material to re-master a load of the mahogany rush albums ..anyone out there heard them? if so what did you make of it. Keep on cranking it up frank!!

Frank your live DVD sounds so good, you and the young band you have, just great. I am an old southern USA hippie drummer. Your story of the trippin' hit home with me. I did the same stuff when I was young only with mushrooms. They grew in the cow poop and it was Free so guess what we over did it. I was done with trippin' after a few big rounds of shrooms. Always loved your tunes and tones, what a player, smoking on that SG! Your outlook on money, the music business, just so honest and humble not like a star that you clearly ARE! Keep on Rocking it's GREAT!

Sir, thanks to my older brother, Kevin, I was first treated to your genius (about age 9) when he would spin "Child of the novelty." By the time he bought World Anthem, I was hooked. He took me to hear you play, in Maryland, along with Mother's Finest, April Wine, and Humble Pie - billed as a rock-n-roll marathon as I remember. It was fabulous! While those other bands were entertaining, Mahogany Rush was clearly on another level.
I saw you several times at The Wax Museum, in Washington, DC, early eighties, as well. We were leaning right on the stage, front and center, couldn't have been more than six feet away! Those shows were much more impressive. Most likely because of the smaller setting. Decades later, for my 50th birthday, Kevin gave me a copy of Eye of the Storm - and there you were, writing a song that spoke right to me; Ordinary Man. I love that tune!

Thank you for sharing your talents for so long!

greetings from new jersey!...saw you 40 years ago when I was 18 ...you were warming up for the monolith tour from Kansas!...still have great memories from that show...I got all the way up to the stage right in front of you just to watch you play and you did not disappoint!...what a show!!...it`s such a thrill to know you`re still active and playing...your music was a big part of my youth and inspiration to play...I now own over 20 guitars but I still can`t play anywhere near as good as you can...but I try...no band, I play just for the love of playing...would love to see you on tour again....any chance of that happening?.....just curious...I`m sure you`ve already been through here and I was asleep at the wheel....my bad...if not, no worries, I still have great memories of yesteryear...and Youtube makes it possible to watch you play live shows from the past....well, good luck and good health to you from and old fan!!.. take care...smile

Hi there Frank! I was fan of yours back in the 70's from the release of Child of the Novelty. Saw you live at the Auditorium Theater in Rochester back then. I was quite amazed to say the least. During the 80's my attention went more to jazz and new age instrumental stuff. I am also a guitar player and work in the field of architecture. YouTube is kind of a treasure of videos of all manor of stuff which is where I've come across some of your videos. I still love the music of the 60's and 70's the best. Glad to see your still rockin. I think it was a video of you posted in 2016 and couldn't believe how you've maintained the skills over the years. My best to you and your loved ones!

Hey Frank,
I just want thank you Paul and Jimmy (and your bro on guitar too) for some of the best rock music I've had the pleasure of listening to growing up and into my 50's now.....(I still listen to all your LPs to this day and teach your songs to my students).... Much respect mate !!! Also a big thanks for sending me those shirts a few years back when your merchandise guy wouldn't post to Australia. Hope the shoulder has recovered.... Also, anytime you want to come to the arse end of the earth and do some gigs here would be fine by me. I'm sure I could rustle up a few old hippies to make up the numbers.....(Hey, come for a holiday).
Best Wishes smile
