I've been following you and MahoganyRush for many years. I have a good friend who introduce me to your music sometimes in late 70's and i'm still playing this music on a daily bases. I met my wife in 1985 and we had many good times listen to this. And mow...... 33 years after my kids also listen to you. Great!
Kind regard, Howard

Frank, you are three years older than me now. I heard you back in the 70s but was distracted by other favorite bands and never really got to appreciate you as much as I do today because now I play league Qatar and back then I was a drummer. Just like you started on drums ha ha. I am fully convinced that the best musicians have come from Canada. There’s something about your country that produces some of the most amazing musicians I’ve ever heard. I salute you and value your opinion and attitude towards music the way it’s changed and the things we’ve lost over the years. I am using every lesson I can fine about the way you play to push me to a much higher level. Rock on brother, you are most appreciated

Mr. Marino,

You and Mahogany Rush were actually the first live concert I ever went to! I saw y'all back in the late 70's at the Beaumont Civic Auditorium in Beaumont, Texas and was amazed at your skill level with the guitar. Saw you again a few years later in Lake Charles, Louisiana and that concert was even better than the first one! After that, I moved on to Houston and then to Lafayette where I lost track of you but, would like to say "THANK YOU" for some great music. "Tales of the Unexpected" is on my laptop and is currently the only album I have left from your music. If your days of touring are over, I can look back and say I saw the best that really never received the recognition he rightfully deserved.

Wishing you the very best my friend, Bobby

Hey Frank, I saw your Band in 1974 in Seattle Washington, you played the Paramount, that show changed my life forever and I knew what I wanted to with my life after that. To this day I still remember that show. Thank you for your awesome music and I hope one day our paths may cross. Daniel.

I've always loved your big full sound and all the effects. It takes the music to a higher level.

I also like your vocals.

Keep on rockin' my Canadian brother! So glad y'all legalized the sweet leaf.

Peace and Love,

Scott

Back in the 70s, Frank would come around 3-4 times a year. Friends and I would ALWAYS attend. Later, he played a club date and I took some GOOD live photos. He played in Houston a few years later at another club. I "fan-boyed" backstage to dressing area where he was happy to sign album covers and photos. Kind enough to just let me hang-out for a long while. Could have had me thrown out like yesterdays garbage. SUPER NICE guy!! One of my favorite interactions with rock royalty! Wish the DVD would be released. The one clip looks fantastic. He's without a doubt, the musician I miss not seeing perform anymore. Wishing him all the best.

How come Midnight Highway hasn't got the beginning of the song in official CD? In vinyl it's different.

I tell everyone I cut my (guitar) teeth on Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush, along with Gallagher,
Johnny Winter, Pat Travers... all the best & sometimes obscure, Frank never got his due - I think- I started playing guitar at 13-yrs. in '74. always praise Frank in conversation about great players... and have to laugh when people say really? or Frank who?
Glad to be on this site with ya-all. Guitman.

Despite being only 49, I admire digging into the '70s and discovering deep bands like Uriah Heep, Wishbone Ash, and of course, Frank Marino/Mahogany Rush. Having experienced many of these bands and my favorite songs from the live in concert (experienced FUBB by Wishbone Ash live this past weekend!), seeing Frank Marino play Requiem for a Sinner, In My Ways, World Anthem, and my favorite Stories of a Hero is something I have to experience to complete my '70s dream! Will travel if necessary to make it happen! Any plans on playing again in the near future?
