Frank: we miss you so much here in KY. The memories of my family and friends go way back. I have the strangest story to tell some day; but you are busy and probably will not get this anyway(sigh). So hit me up, you made a lot of fans in my school in the late 70's. Thanx-JoeMike Roberts

Frank, thanks for the great tunes. You have provided the background for many memorable days and 1000 nights. I have been a fan for 30+ years and will never stray away. If I had the opportunity to listen to only one more song for the rest of my life I would chose "Land of a 1000 nights". Thanks.

Blair

Hi. I just re-discovered Mahogany Rush after probably not hearing the name since my high school days in the late 70's! I heard one of your songs playing on XM's "Deep Tracks" station the other day. (Unfortunately, I was driving at the time and I didn't think to check the song title.) Wow! talk about a flashback! I'm definately going to have to get back into your music. I mentioned the band to a guy I work with who's really into music and he smiled and said , Wow! I haven't heard that name for years! (Most of the people I know who have said, Who?)
Anyway, I'm glad you're still out there doing it. I hope you can come to the Boston area sometime. I will definately be there! Keep On Rockin'! Ron smile

Dear Frank,
I hope you dont mind me calling you Frank but I feel like you are part of my family. I am 44 yrs old now and My brothers Millard and Greg and I have been rocking to you since the early 70s. I started listening to hard/acid rock in 1970 just before Jimi died.(I was 8). I have always loved Jimi and then came my other brother Frank. I have friends of mine throughout my life call me Hale the Hendrix fanatic or the guy who always talks about Frank Marino. I have gotten old(er) now but I have spent more time listening to your music than anyone has. One day in the early 80s (I went to college in Chicago 80-83) I had to go to court for a stupid DUI and I was young and scared so I put on A'int Dead Yet through the headphones and cranked it. I knew it would be ok after that . It was. Thank you for 35 yrs of great music memories. My brothers and I are hoping to see you live in August, in Chicago this year 2006. It will be the first time we can all see you together. HISTORIC Moment. (True Story)

Frank, back in the seventies I had heard your version of the roadhouse blues and that sold me. Your amazing! I too have been clean and serene for the last 18 years, and have just rediscovered your music. I prefer live performances because you here more "musical truth". It say's allot about created music in one take. I have lived all over the world and have heard great giutarist from Hamburg to Durbin South Africa, Your the best. Thanks for the enjoyment. Keep on Rockin.

for decades i've been trying to remember that other band, something rush, but couldn't remember the name until recently as i downloaded music and somehow under my searches the name TALES OF THE UNEXPECTED came up and i said " that's it ", i'm not going to pretend that i'm the greatist fan because i honestly don't remember much now that i'm 42 years old, but i did remember all " along the watchtower "and it was one of my best tunes as a kid...

as a teenager, i would choose much of my music by examining the album covers. instrumentation, song titles, artwork, and photos all had a place in my decision. i can only remember one time not liking what i picked out.

Mahogany Rush Was My Best "Discovery". it all started with M.R. IV, and i now have 9 of your albums. in time i plan to own every album. Frank, i am so glad that you have perservered inspite of the "Business" snubbing you. you are truly a Hall of Fame Composer and Guitarist.

Best Wishes,

Steve

I'VE SEEN YOU PLAY MANY TIMES FRANK. YOU'RE THE BEST PLAYER AND THE FINEST COMPOSER OUT THERE. WAITING FOR YOU TO RELEASE A CONCERT DVD. I'LL WATCH IT EVERY DAY. I FIRST SAW YOU ON T.V. ON DON KIRSCHNERS' ROCK CONCERT IN 1975 AND YOU BLEW ME AWAY. I WENT OUT THE NEXT MORNING AND HUNTED DOWN ANY MAHOGANY RUSH RECORDS I COULD FIND. YOU HAVE BEEN IN MY LIFE EVERY DAY SINCE AND HAVE BEEN A HUGE INFLUENCE ON MY GUITAR PLAYING, PEOPLE HAVE COMMENTED THAT MY PLAYING SOUNDS VERY MUCH LIKE YOU. THANKS FOR ALL THE FANTASTIC MUSIC.
