cool Hi Frank! Just wanted to say that i miss your music. I used to have alot of your albums on cassette from when i worked at Columbia Records here back in late 70's/early 80's. I hear that most of those are now remastered on cd. Cant find them in this area though. I still sing to myself two of your songs which are my favs...Finish Line and Dragonfly. Also like Strange Dreams and Juggernaut. What are you doing now? Are you still touring or working on a new cd? Hope you stop by my town sometime in the future. Havent seen you in concert since a tripleheader w/Humble Pie and Mothers Finest in Indianapolis at the Convention Center, back in '80. You put on one awsome show then. I was blown away! Still have my ticket stub too. Will cherish it always. You are without a doubt, the greatest guitarist in the world! God bless. Your #1 fan for life, Jeff (aka Baldy) wink Rock On, Bro!

Wow, Frank is all I can say. I was a fan of yours many years ago. I must say I miss your music very much so. I'm listening to you play live right now on a CD I asked my 13 year old nephue to burn for me. I first saw you in Ohio I think it was 75 or 76 in a small theator I can't remember where. I was so blown away by the performance. I was a singer in a band called Listen (garage band) I went and bought a guitar a few days later and moved to California Bay Area. I missed your Day on the Green performance. I haven't see you since Ohio. I love your music then and I still do. My musical career went down the tubes due to my taste for cocaine back then. What A shame yea. Well I'm 45 now and my son is 13 and learning to play. Tonight I turned him on to Frank Marino the greatest guitar player to ever strap one on. I love you my brother. I have picked my guitar back up, feels good. I am going to try to play anything I can remember and help my son out. I told him all I knew about you we sat and listen to this live CD and we both are blown away. Keep Rockin' Frank. If you or a rep. ever gets a chance to drop an old fan a line I would love to here from you. If you are ever in Florida I would love to break bread with you. I hope you are still touring. Come to Fl. we would love to see ya. I am going to order every CD I can get my hands on from the great Frank Marino. I just found your web site tonight, glad I rediscovered you. Forgive me my brother for being an inactive fan. But hey it's never to late to Rock & Roll.
Keep Rockin' in the Free World!!! Ron

I've had the "Child of the Novelty" album for about eight years. I purchased his album while working at a student radio station.

Recently, I pulled out the album and listened to it with fresh ears. I've really been enjoying it and am interested in some of Frank's other work.

I had a guitar teacher about fifteen years ago who was heavy into Frank. I've played myself for about 20 years. I've been an avid fan of Hendrix for about 30 years.

When I was a kid I did have an opportunity to watch Frank on a televised version of Cal Jam II. I remember the jam blew me away.

I look forward to digging into some of his other work.

Chris

Dear Frank,

I've only had the opportunity to see you twice, and I can't believe what I missed all these years. Your artistry leaves me speechless. God really blessed you with a remarkable gift that has touched so many people. Please come back to Chicago as soon as you can!!!!!!!

Frank You played the Municipal Auditorium in Shreveport La. back in the early 70's(?) the same place Elvis got his start with the Louisiana Hayride.
You announced that you were recording for a live album I hope we gave you a rockin' response & it was used on your release.
It was also the same stage I saw Jimi Hendrix, both nights were magic.
We have the same birthday Nov. 20th.

Frank,
I've been a big fan since purchasing Strange Universe in late '75. I was totally blown away with it and 30+ years later still consider it one of the best albums I've ever owned. I plan on ordering soon the 3 album, 2 CD set that includes it along with your first 2 albums. I played it a little while ago and WOW! did it ever take me back... I couldn't believe I could play the album in it's entirety on this site... Thanks! I seen you in the Summer of '76 in San Antonio, Texas when you guys were touring Mahogany Rush IV ( another killer album ). I'll never get the memory out of my mind of you doing the Star Spangled Banner to close the show... it was one of the most awesome live performances I've witnessed... and I've seen my share of them. Screw the critics and naysayers! Those of us in the know... well, we just "know". You're among the greatest!

Frank,

You were one person largely responsible for getting me to be into the guitar as a teenager (bought an SG back then) and still to this day. I loved "Requiem for a Sinner" and one of the ultimate "guitar god" albums "Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush Live." My good friend and fellow guitar player/Marino fan Brian met you years ago while setting up a concert of yours at the now defunct Colony Theater in Chicago. Maybe you remember him. In any case, you sound like a contented person these days and I wish you all the best.

Steve

Dear Frank,
I have been a fan of yours since the 70's and I got the chance to see you in concert in Lake Charles La. Wow is the best word to describe the show. Your tone is so awesome your licks are out of this world and the mix was the cleanest best sounding concert of all times. And I have seen a lot of shows in my time. I would love to get a chance to hear you again.. And yes you are probably the most underated guitar player of all time.... Thanks for the great music over the years..
p.s. Your brother is not a bad player either. he was playing guitar the night i saw you.
