Frank, I've been waiting for this DVD for quite a while. I first listened to you in the mid 70s and have been a huge fan ever since. Seen you live several times, took pictures of you and had a roadie sign an album for me, and I must say that I love the fact that you are still playing and are waiting to see you again in the Los Angeles area.

I received my copy of the Agora DVD last week... having had a chance to watch it all, I can't say enough how impressed I am with it. As a long time MR fan ( since 1975 ), I was really happy to see songs like It's begun to rain and IV ... The Emperor done live and done really well. Frank's playing and singing are exceptional on this, and the band is so impressive, individually and as a tight unit. And thanks to Peter Daniels for making this happen, the camera work on this is great ! This dvd was worth every cent and worth waiting for.

I became aware of Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush in the early 80's while attending college.

As a guitar player , I was inspired to write and record heavy psychedelic rock music on various 4 track tape decks available at the time.

Frank's music on Child Of The Novelty and Strange Universe were big inspirations.

My favourite concert of all time was Montrose, Mahogany Rush, and Black Sabbath at the (then) Portland Memorial Coliseum. Frank blew me away with his mastery of rhythm, soloing, tone, and sound effects. I was already teaching myself to play when I saw that concert, and it further inspired me. Thank you, Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush!
