Well Frank, you already know how much I like your playing, I just wanted to comment on what a great writer you are also. Your songs always say something & have meaning, all types of stories , many of them are very deep. To me it is amazing how many different ways you you can write, then put awsome guitar to it and add great music to it all. I feel your not only a gifted guitar player/musician, but also an extremely gifted writer. Can't wait to hear the new CD, hope it's Real Soon.....Rob

Frank, I have seen you play on many occasions. I have traveled hundreds of miles by car to see your shows. But I must say the most memorable show that I saw was in a tiny little place, in Santa Cruz, called "O.T.'s". The place was packed so tight me and a friend practicly ended up back stage watching the show from behind you and the band. What a thrill that was. Some of your roadies were looking at us like "what the Hell are they doing" but everyone was cool. and we finished the show from the best vantage point in the house. I hope to see you soon, and would love the opportunity to meet you in person. thanx for taking the time to read all your "fan mail". I think Willy has done a great job of putting you in touch with your fans.

I haven't had my Frank Marino LP's out since high school in the 70's! I'm gonna get 'em out tonight though!! I think I still have some on 8-track too! The guitarist in my high school band bought a '67 Gibson SG just like Frank's back then. I think it's the only guitar he's kept all these years!Come to the states Frank, we remember!

Frank Marino has enhanced my life since 1973. Being a musician at heart, (drummer at the time) I was consumed with a desire to become a guitar player, which I did. I first got to see Frank live in the summer of 1976 in Dayton Ohio. I just knew he couldn"t do some of the stuff he"d done on studio albums. WRONG! To say the least, my senses have never recovered. I've been amazed by each album, and each of the 13 times I've witnessed the awsome spirit of, in my opinion, the greatist guitarist on the planet. I'm so glad someone is finally giving Frank the credit he deserves. My story is so close to Willys' that it would be redundit to say anything more. Thank God for Frank Marino and all of the true fans of his mission. Can't wait to check out the new album and tour. Top Ten Fan, Tony Barker

Frank, If you want I'd be glad to send you a tape recorded that is of excellent quality from your Juggernaut tour at a great place called Park West is Chicago that's known for it's acoustics. If you come through Chicago try to get Mary or whoever your mgr.is now to book that place. I've seen you there and in 3 other spots around town.Glad you're releasing new stuff. And the internet isn't a bad idea for it. Michael Schenkers fan club releases most of his stuff plus some japanese(ZERO) company. As I'm sure he was fed up w/some of the stuff on the business end and wanted to leave the product w/people he could trust. Keep rockin' Oh by the way I thought Randy Hansen did a great job on Uli Roths' Spirit of Hendrix video but it should've been you

I'm SO glad to have found this site! Over the last year I have given countless interviews where the inevitable "influences" question comes up. I always site two guitarists as the ones who made me pick up a guitar--Jimi and Frank Marino! The news of the re-release of Franks classic albums is fantastic! Let's hope (as he said in his letter)that a tour will follow. With the pendulum finally swinging back to MUSIC-instead of fashion and attitude- I believe we're primed for a renaissance of great guitar music. I'm sure if that's the case, Frank Marino will be hailed as the great, imaginative artist he is!

What could be possibly said that hasn't all ready been espoused. Great Website for a great Guitarist. Your one of the main reasons why I play. (bass) Frank, thank you very very much. And if you will permit me to get on my soap box, I would like to express my sorrow that those in the so called music business know nothing of music, only marketing plastic! Frank, don't ever quit,I mean some one out there has got to play.

I'am a Social Worker at a mental health facility and a guitar player. Many of my client's have mentioned Frank Marino as their guitar hero. I also remember the Don Kirshner shows. Too Cool!!

Saw you in 1979 at Day On The Green in Oakland, Ca. As you were playing your set it started to rain rather hard for a bit and the canopy covering the stage started to fill with water. Some sections of the canopy started to tear open and big gushes of water were coming down behind the band as you played. That was the BEST special effect I have ever seen during a live show. Oh yeah your set was a ripper!!!! Play Sacramento next time your in Northern California.

Great songs, great guitarist. One question. Where do I get "What's Next", "Power of Rock and Roll", "World Anthem", and "Juggernaut" on CD?

Wish I could be there for the chat, but Vancouver Island bound I am. Frank, you are great for participating in this event. It takes a special artist to respond like you have through Willy and stuff. He should be your manager...smile I'll make I'm there for future chats. Take care and have fun.

Willy, I loved the idea of your fantasy set list, very cool!!! Which made me wan't to do one myself, just for fun. I would love to see Frank perform the following tunes live in an acoustically perfect room/auditorium, with Claudio on keyboard's and Vince on second guitar. Breakin Away, Broken Heart Blues, Finish Line, Maybe It's Time, Free, Look At Me, Once Again, Tryin Anyway, Dear Music, Little Sexy Annie, Tales Of The Spanish Warrior. Land Of A Thousand Nights, Strange Universe, Go Strange, Stories Of A Hero, Tales Of The Unexpected, Sommethings Commin Our Way, Juggernaut, Ain't Dead Yet, Then go one step further and make a live video out of it. This whole set would be under two hours,so youcould fit it on to a two hour tape. (Dare to Dream)
