I loved Frank's music from his 70's era but lost touch with his music. I've concentrated on the blues mostly in the last 15 years or so. I realize now that even when I was rocking hard - it was the blues that really did it to me. To hear that Frank is still serious about his music and most importantly, that it is the blues makes me very excited. An all blues CD from Frank would be poetry! I can't wait.

Hi Frank! I've been a fan for many years and still listen to your songs all the time. They sound just as fresh and alive as ever, to me. I love "I'm Going Away" the best... also "Imagine." Your music is haunting and deep and I still get chills when I hear the guitar on "I'm Going Away." Hope you're planning a tour, cuz I'll be first in line to see you! Good luck and God bless you, too!

So happy to find Frank planning new records and tours. I am another fan who thought maybe I was the only one left (except for Big Steve Palermo!). I discovered Jyrki's page almost a year ago. Big Steve and I saw Frank at a small club in Philadelphia about 1982 or so, I was about 5 feet from Frank all night, and at the end of the show, He threw his guitar pick to me. I taught myself to play the guitar with that pick. FRANK PLEASE BRING YOUR TOUR TO SEATTLE!!!!!!!!

Finally, at last! I received my pre-ordered copy of "World Anthem" this morning. Suddenly it's 1977 again. I'm 17 and listening to this marvelous recording again for the first time. Frank, thanks for this wonderful recording that has meant so much to me over the years. And always remember "stick to your guns and fight, oh yeah, see I'm stuck in my ways."

Great to see you have a presence on the WWW. I got to see you twice live. Once at the Trenton War Memorial in 1977 after you released Mahogany Rush IV and another time when you were touring with Kansas at the Philadelphia Spectrum probably in 1979. You did a live appearance at Peaches record store where you appeared with your brother Vince and Jimmy Ayoub. You gave away a Fender Telecaster at a drawing. I had a broken arm and you signed my cast and drew a big picture of a guitar on it. I wound up talking to you for quite along time and discussed many issues. We talked about your adventure in 1969 experimenting with too much psychedelics and "discovering" you could play the guitar while you were sequestered away in a sanatorium. I have had an almost parallel experience with the psychedelics however I could play guitar before going to the hospital. At the time I believe you were just getting over breaking some fingers in your hand from an engine block falling down on you. If you can't remember It wouldn't surprise me. Anyway I have been dying to get Strange Universe on CD for years and have stumbled across this website while looking for it. I have found it, your first 3 albums on one release. I'm buying, I had the records but it has been almost twenty years since they were in my possession. Have a good day. --Kevin Brennan

Sure miss your guys music. Saw ya'll play live twice. The Live album, and Juggernuat tour. Saw you guys play for $1.01 cent at a local club in Corpus Christi Tx, and I don't think I will ever get my moneys worth out of any show like i did that night. Frank, you rule!! And your band is awsome. Never forget seeing you break a string, but no big deal just move up the neck. Fantastic!!!! I'm a bass player, and the man can jam!! Our band tried to learn Dragon Fly, but we could not do it justice. Hope to see you guys jam again sometime. For the record, have Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush Live, Mahoganu Rush IV, What's Next, and Juggernaut! Strange Dreams!! Can you guys tell me if I can get any of them on cd? They are all on vinyl! I always look for a cd, but no luck. Best wishes to you and the band Frank!! Hope to hear from you with a new jamm'r sometime. BIGASS FAN!! Take care,,,,Burt Mahog
