Saw Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush, back in 1977 at the Hollywood Palace in Baltimore Md. It was a bar so me and my buddy snuck in with fake IDs. While Frank was playing a drunk climbed on the stage. The bouncer threw him off the stage Over me and my friend. Pitchers of beer went flying . Frank never missed a beat.Totaly blown away. What a first concert ...Thanks Frank ...never forget your show

As a musician, I have been inspired by your music Frank. As a Prodigal Son who has returned home I have been inspired by your words "Relationships are the currency of Heaven..."

You are in my prayers...

I just recently rediscovered Frank and Mahogany Rush. I am now 62 but as a teen and young adult I loved Frank and his band and had bought two vinyl LP's, one of then being the Mahogany Rush IV LP. For the last few days I have been reading about Frank and listening to Franks amazing music on U Tube while I rediscovered the music. Today I read the very sad news that Frank is ill and is giving up touring. I wish the very best to Frank in getting well and beating his illness. He is obviously an extremely talented man and deserves to be recognized. As far as I am concerned Frank Marino is the best Canadian guitarist and is amongst the very best ever in the world of rock. Best wishes Frank.

Frank, I am saddened by the news of your retirement and health issue. You are in my prayers. I discovered your music in the 70's as a teenager and budding musician. I was taken by your skills on the guitar first but your voice is also very special and powerful. It is an incredible catalog of music that you have created. I think it's a shame that you have not gotten the recognition you deserve but you will always be one of the best in my book! I truly hope that your situation improves and gives you the opportunity to get back in front of a live audience. We would all love to see you perform again. God speed.

Truly,
David Stagner

Frank, I have been a fan since I attempted to see you in 1974 in Madison, Wisconsin (Queen Tour) and your gear was malfunctioning (or sabotaged)
I have all your Lp's and cd's and you are the best guitarist I've ever heard!
In fact, you are the only musician who has become a verb around my house. When someone hears you for the first time and has that open-mouthed gape of awe and amazement, I tell them "You've just been Franked"! Please know you are in my prayers and here's wishing the healing hand of God to reach down and cure you of your malady.

Frank,

May GOD be with you and give you the power and strength to overcome your disability....

I saw you 2 nights in a row at the Hollywood Palace in June of 1977. I just had tickets to see you both nights at Rams Head in Annapolis, MD. You are by far my favorite musician of all time. I am 62 years old and have been listening to music for well over 50 years and have seen you every chance that I have had when you had shows in Maryland. Thank you for all of the great music that you have given us and for the countless hours of pleasure listening to your music.

Thanks,
Greg

Hi Frank, you have no clue how much your music changed my life back in 1973 when I first heard Buddy and All in your mind. It opened a whole new window on music for me and I will always be grateful to you, Jimmy and Paul for giving us that great music. Hope you are doing well my friend, take good care of yourself...health is everything.
P.s.: we share the same pizza place, saw your pic on the wall...lol

Thanks for the spiritual inspiration especially on the Eye of the Storm CD.
I saw you perform in Chicago @ The Aragon Ballroom ( Child of the Novelty Tour) in
1975 , I think. I was blown away by your guitar wizardry !!
I also had tickets for your upcoming Fall 21 tour.
God bless and I wish your health gets better.

Hello Frank,

I had the chance to meet you at PJ Flaherty's in Evergreen Park, IL back in October of 1988 when I mentioned to one of your roadies that I knew Bill Luther, the guy that owned the theater in Chicago. It was great to meet you face-to-face that evening.

I'm very sorry to hear about your health. You were my initial inspiration that led me to play guitar and study music at the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago. I've always admired you. I hope things take a turn for the better very soon for you Frank. Please let me know if there's any thing I can do for you.
