I've been a fan since the 70s! I still listen to your music - was listening to the Live album recently. I saw the band at the 1st Texas Jamm ('78)...went specifically to see Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush. I remember y'all coming on @ 3 am - and killing it!
Cheers!

I grew up in the 70s and I find it exciting that Frank is still the great he's always been. I can't wait to get the Agora box set. I saw Kansas with mahogany Rush in Boston in 1979. Frank's the reason that I went. He was almost not real. Impossibly fast and accurate. All of my serious guitar friends were big fans. They did not disappoint!

Mu favorite albums does not show up in the list, but without any doubt it is Live at the Agora Theatre ! (yeah ok, it is a Blueray / DVD , but I ripped it onto 5 CD's myself laugh
WHOW ... This man becomes better and better as the years go by ... important
I have Live '78 and Tales of the Unexpected in my CD-racks for well over 30 years now, and I still play it quite some times, but Live at the Agora Theatre is my absolute favorite.
I bought it just a few weeks ago, but man .. this is FAR OUT !!!
I play it over and over and over again since I have it.

Great stuff Frank ! love love love
You play in such a fluent way, I just LOVE it !
Please come to the Netherlands some time, and I WILL be there !

I am 62 years old, and have been to countless concerts. I have been to 5 of your concerts in the past 45 years, and I must say that there is no one I have enjoyed as much as you, Mr. Marino. You have never compromised your original principles, and there is something very special about that. I am a big fan of technical guitar players, whether they play hard rock, heavy metal, jazz, jazz-rock fusion, or the blues, and there is no one like you, Sir. You have been and always will be my favorite guitar player. You really are the best, Mr. Frank Marino. Always wishing you nothing but the very Best! Eternally your fan, Richard Duecker

Frank,

I saw you live in my first concert (14 years old) ever 15th. March 1983 Oulu Finland (Juggernaut Tour?). I had a newspaper route and was able to save money for the ticket me and my cousin went to see you. His dad was kind enough to drive us there. We arrived early and were able to secure spot on the front of the stage. That experience change my life forever. Although I never pursued music as a career I became "lifer" I can live without playing and it has been the most important channel for me to express myself. Funny incident 30 years later I live in States and over the work met one guy and he asked where I was from an when I said I was from northern Finland he said he visited Oulu back in the day. He was you guitar technician on that tour...laugh. Small world. I soon I get my son's college year in books I will order your new DVD. I heard your interview and really looking forward to seeing it.

Thank you for the music!
Esa

I have listened to the great live album from 78’ but very recently ventured into the rest of Frank Marino’s work and I’ve got to say that I am overwhelmed with Frank’s superior talent and the ability to mix blues and a little Jazz with Rock n Roll that is amped up to a almost Metal sound.
Nothing could be more satisfying and gratifying to listen to!!!!!!
One of a kind !!!!!
Thank you Mr. Frank Marino for you awesome and beautiful musical contributions !!!!!
We ( you’re Fan’s) love you !!!!!!
See you in Cincinnati,Ohio in 2021 !!!!

First of all, your website is a great tribute to a great guitar man.
To Frank: From Highschool (driving the teacher crazy with Tales of the Unexpected during Art Class) up till today it's a joy to listen to the emotion loaded songs and guitar play!!
Wish you , your love-ones and fans, good health, good fortunes and hope to see you playing live in 2022.
Thanks Frank, musical companion for life.

I had the first three albums in the '70s when I was in High School. Now that my children are grown and I actually have time to listen to my own music, I decided to upgrade from vinyl to CD. I didn't even know Mahogany Rush was still around! I can't wait to listen to Child of a Novelty again! Keep rocking!
