Frank, it seems as I've known you all my life. in fact I was 14 when I first heard a few minutes of Maxoom before the 8 track tape broke. Even though I was pissed because the tape broke, it was enough for me to know I got to find out more about this guy playing the guitar. That was 1977.
later I was able to go see you in Columbus,Ga. you was promoting the first LIVE album. That my brother was it, you have always been my favorite Guitarist! I had several albums and tapes, but later lost you in the trials of life. I am 57 now, been playing off and on Guitar, myself. You are still my favorite, of all others. You have brought great inspiration to my life by your style. truly the most versatile guitarist. I hope before we leave this life I'll have the opportunity to finally meet you, Frank. and if not, we'll jam in heaven. May God's Grace always shine down you, and your family.

I had the good fortune to be at Frank's very first gig - Westmount High's morning assembly sometime in 1970. I don't think anyone at the assembly knew, including principal Hamilton who had just addressed the student body, that the curtain would rise and a loud rock band would rock the gymnasium. It was kind of mind-blowing for me at 16.

Have always been a fan and owned Juggernaut on vinyl, cassette, CD and now digital on my phone. LOL Very glad you are still making music and carrying on. I have to say, I didn’t know this was true until I started researching how to play Strange Dreams on guitar. Serendipity, I suppose.

Thanks for all the great memories I have of listening to your music.

I just read Frank's bio and the lyrics to the last verse of, "The Answer." I thought I should write
One night in 1975 I took 4 or 5 hits of acid. I saw down into a pit and beheld the most powerfully evil beings I'd ever seen. I had their undivided attention.
I was paralyzed by their fear. I ended up in the hospital overnight.
It was ten months before I could sleep with the lights off. It took two years before the fear left.
In the mean time I picked up the guitar which helped me get through it.
I didn't know if anyone else had ever experienced what I did that night. I still don't but talking about it helps.
I'm a follower of Jesus Messiah. I am not of the body of Christ and I am not a Messianic Jew, though I view both as my close kin.
I'm a descendant of Abraham, a son of Levi, and a descendant of a Levite attached to the tribe of Ephraim, who went into Assyrian exile along with the other 9 tribes of the house of Israel nearly 2,800 years ago.
Elohim has given me the mission of gathering the returning tribes of Israel.
Frank, thanks for the music. I think of your influence when I play my Strat. Shalom.

I stumbled upon the website. Takes me back to Louisville, Kentucky, 1977 and one of the shows that became "Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush, Live." My ticket cost $1.05 (?) which was the same as the FM radio frequency of the station that put on the concert. Talk about a lot of bang for the buck!!! I stood front and center, directly in front of Frank. Without a doubt the most mystical musical experience of my lifetime...

Hi Frank. I wanted to send a hello and thank you for all the great music you've provided over the years. Somehow, I didn't discover your music until recently. I hate that I missed out all these years, but it has been fantastic to have all this great music that was "new to me." I especially love your long jams on the live recordings. The way you can make an eight minute solo MEAN something and not just be filler notes is amazing. I don't know if you'll ever read this but your music has moved me so much that I had to write. Thank you for all your wonderful music. I believe I've bought up about everything you've done by now, so hopefully the money is nice for you. I KNOW listening to your music has been nice for me. It even inspires my playing... even though I am just a hobbyist. Be well, Mr. Marino. You are a real guitar hero. I hope you have a great day.

California Jam was my introduction to your music. Became an instant fan. The next day my best friend and I went to our local record store looking for your albums. He bought one and I bought a different one. Mine was Mahogany Rush 4, his was World Anthem. We put them on my stereo and just got totally lost in what we heard. I was just learning guitar at the time and was just amazed at the guitar tones, the songs and despite what you think of your voice, I thought you sang great as well. I still do. Anyway, I just checked out the website and found that you have a BLU-RAY box set available. This is no less than a dream come true for me. I have always wanted to see you in concert but under circumstances beyond my control have never been lucky enough. Now I can with this new release. Gotta get some cash together, and order it soon. Thanks so much for all the fantastic music over all the years. Looking forward to more. Keep Rocking!smile
