Been a fan for quite a while. My bag also has Hendrix, Trower, SRV, Leslie West and many more, but I must say that your licks are up there with the best. Hope to see you down under in my life time.

Frank, Thank you for all the incredible licks. You are one the best that has ever played. I remember a night you had the paint falling from the ceiling from the Metro in Chicago. Great memories. Hey, What about turning on the folks in Seattle sometime in 2007. I know you'd fill up the Paramount. I hope to hear about a show. Dude, Thanks.

Your totaly kick ass Frank ! Your modal inversion's and precise interval placing against your back beat rythem has alway's guided my soloing in the wright direction. nice choice of cord's overall Major/Minor 7th's really rock through a grinding distortion . Hope your next output is solo based with all that DRIVE!!!! See you on the flip side Bro!!!!!

I was a diehard FM fan many years ago, and just rediscovered Frank on iTunes a couple of weeks ago. I have several vinyl albums in my collection, but since I rarely use my turntable, haven't listened to them in some time. So now, Frank is on my iPod - he plays to me while at work, in the car, in the gym. My 18 year old son heard FM for the first time last week, and has copied all my music for his use. The fan base spreads to another generation!

Thanks for the wonderful music that brings so many hours of pleasure.

Frank, saw you and MR at the Spectrum in Summer 1979/80, opening for Kansas. Caught the last 15 minutes because someone I drove with decided it was more important to get stoned. Mid-August, 100 degrees outside and you're playing Little Town of Bethlehem. Amen. All the best to you. Hope to see you in/around the Phila area soon.

Saw Mahogany Rush in 1975 in East Lansing, MI at the Brewery which later became the Silver Dollar Saloon. As I recall, I was 18 and could go to the bars. It was an awsome concert.

Greetings Frank-
I must admit to, and apologize for, losing touch with your music for several years. From my mid-teens thru mid-thirties, I'm sure many a bandmate grew tired of hearing me speak of Frank Marino. From the beginning, Jimi's "Band of Gypsys" defined what I wanted to sound like (remember "Message of Love"?), but more importantly, you then came along and not only validated my aspirations, but widened the horizon one-hundred-fold. "Look At Me" comes to mind. Certainly "Look Outside".
For the record, I've seen four live shows: Cols. Ohio w/Nazareth in support of "Strange Universe" and "Hair of the Dog", Long Beach, CA. in support of "Tales of the Unexpected", Cols. Ohio @ The Alrosa Villa (early '80's), and Cleve. Ohio about five yrs. ago @ the Odeon.
Looks like I have some CD's to buy. Hope to see concert dates (OHIO?!) in '07. Feel free to email anytime. And thanks.

I am a young one, merely 19 years old. I've been heavily into guitar and guitar playing since i was at least 16 and I just recently found Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush. I have not been amazed this much in a LONG time. I recently bought Tales of the Unexpected and I have not stopped listening to it. People my age are listening to rap or punk and other things of that sort, I personally am not into it at ALL which is rare for my generation. To sum it up I love your playing Frank and I hope you tour in the US soon because I would do anything to see you live. Thanks for the inspiration.

The first and only time I saw Frank Marino was at a Day on the Green in Oakland back in the 70s. Needless to say the show was beyond impressive and the music awesome! I remember Frank was wearing a cape (so what!) and played ssssssooooooo good!!! Here it is nearly 30 years later and I still enjoy his music!!! Thanks Frank!!!!!

What a treat it was to see Frank In Orange County California at the Galaxy Theatre last year I had not seen him since the 80's. I invited 4 of my friends also. When Frank hit the stage he came out smoking.he played 3 hours straight, (And we still wanted more) he was really smoking. He was smoking so. it was all we could do is just look at each with amazement. When we left the Galaxy to go home we knew we had been to a great concert. It was unbelievable. So please come Back. In the mean time the cd RealLive will have to make do. By way Frank is Ageless, Still looks the same as he did 20 years ago. I hope Frank will do a DVD one day.

I just wrote Frank an e-mail....as I said I've been looking for Frank Marino and Mohagany rush CD's for 15-20 + years. I seen this group back in 1977 or 78 in Hollywood Florida....all I remember was him standing in front of this red light and belting out a unbeleivable solo.....it has stuck with me all these years....I've seen Zeppelin, I've seen Van Halen. Pink Floyd, ....Only Johnny Winter was another guitarist that I disticntively remember burning the strings off the neck of his guitar.

I wouls reall LOVE to see Frank and the band once more.....keep me posted with hteir tour dates in 2007...

Thanks. John McGee
