I was fortunate enough to be exposed to your music at an early age,so you have been a formative figure in my musical taste,as well as my guitar style.
Converting all of my albums to CD's has been a challenge,to say the least, but your's have been especially difficult. It seems I have to special order every one.
I have been blessed with the oportunity to meet , and jam with, some of my rock and roll "heroes" in the past, some were wonderfully down-to-earth people, some were somewhat more of a disapointment. (such is life...)
Although I realize that the chances of meeting you are very slim, I would love to know what kind of person you are, what it's like to converse with you.
Your music has always seemed very profound to me, and I just wondered if your daily thoughts ran along those same lines.
take care,
Keith Richardson

Just enjoying 'Real Live' my fave live album...enjoyed seeing frank in london in 1983 and again in 2005...wow what a gig!
I can listen to 'Somethings comin our way' time and time again and still get a rush.

Curious to know what frank thinks about guitarists like satriani, vai and buckethead or eric johnson...is he a fan?

Please come back to England soon.

happy new year

I only saw Mahogany Rush once, back in 1977 at Winterland in San Francisco, but I will never forget it. I never got to see Jimi play live, but seeing Frank play was the next best thing. I too was born in 1954 and play guitar. Keep on truckin' and I hope to see you play again sometime.

Frank, I was surfing another artist ( Joe Bonamassa ) and somehow eventually got to your site. I was pleasantly surprized to see you are once again making music/touring. The last Mahogany Rush concert I went to was June 19, 1977 in northeastern Ohio with Chilliwack and 4 other bands. It would be nice to see you LIGHT IT UP once again! How about a tour stop in TAMPA BAY, FLORIDA?

I don't know what took me so long to check this page out. I've been a fan since the 70's. When are you coming to Northern California? Recently got Real Live on CD, truly awesome. I just heard ' The Answer' on TV last night when they were showing Allen Iverson, 'the answer', of the Denver Nuggets NBA team. That blew me away. Couldn't have picked a better song!

To my knowledge never seen by me, Frank Marino doesn't make music videos for airing on conventional TV channels i.e. MTV, VH1, and TheTube. I would like him to do some, and could promote his grand music further. Along with do his current and future music, he could include make music videos of his early and mid era such as Talkin Bout A Feelin, Land Of 1000 Nights, Requiem For A Sinner, The Answer, Loved By You, Sister Change, Stay With Me, The Power Of Rock And Roll, Free, Juggernaut (some of my favs) by simply intermix various scenes of the band studio recording, on stage live concert, at leisure around fun, psychedelic imagery, nothing typical extravagant storytell act in if he doesn't have time or interest such, maybe let his tech engineers create. (Prime example what I mean, Travellin Riverside Blues song by Led Zeppelin was a song L.Z. recorded in the 70s before TV music videos were made, then later in the 90s made a music video of it with intermix scene clips, suffices well enjoy watch.) I venture strong liklihood if he does this, it will turn on new fans and delight existing ones. Frank Marino's keen hard rock music parallels my spirit I much enjoy and listen to more than any other artists

I've been listening to marino since the first time i seen this band called mahogany rush open for nazereth at the j. louis arena in Moncton summer of '76 and the boys just blew me away. Anyway i'm still listening to frank today and after buying his new "real live" cd and giving it a listen, had to smile and think "play on brother, play on!"

I'VE BEEN ENJOYING YOUR MUSIC SINCE I FIRST HEARD IT BACK IN THE SEVENTIES. I'M GLAD TO SEE YOUR STILL PERFORMING. I'VE NEVER SEEN YOU IN CONCERT, BUT I SURE WOULD LIKE TO. I ALSO USED TO PLAY DRUMS. I HAVE A GUITAR, BUT I'VE NEVER REALLY TAKEN THE TIME TO LEARN IT. IT IS A VERY OLD(1940S) GRETSCH I INHERETED FROM MY FATHER IN 1984.KEEP ON ROCKING.
SINCERELY,

ROCK IN THE UK HAS BEEN AT A LOW EBB FOR MANY YEARS NOW (BRIT POP IS AS TURGID AND UNAMBITIOUS AS IT GETS) - IT HAS THEREFORE BEEN MY GREAT PLEASURE TO INVEST IN FRANK'S COMPLETE CATALOGUE. WHERE HAVE ALL THE AXE-MEN GONE - IT SEEMS TO ME THAT FRANK IS JUST THE ONLY ONE STILL LEFT STANDING. MY OTHER FAVES INCLUDE HENDRIX, IOMMI, RANDY CALIFORNIA, TONY 'T.S.' MCPHEE, ZAPPA, ALVIN LEE.

If there was ever a time for a revival of the great music of the seventies, it is now. And, what better a vehicle to bring it back to the forefront then Frank, and the band. Nice to see you continue to keep the dream alive, as does some of your true fans. Rock-N-Roll Rules!

Frank,
God bless you and have a merry Christmas and New Year 2006.
My ears start a yoga dance to your style of music which is leading edge innovative music. My girl friend says I am stuck in the "70's" I was born 1952 play guitar since 1966 My friend Lindsay Northampton Mass born 1954 drums played your album and I bought the CD. My nephew born 1962 plays guitar and listens to all your albums, said he couldn’t wait to listen and relax after he went out with me and was tired of having fun. Keep on doing what you are doing take care from the original Teenage BEAR incredible HULK
