ohmy How can somebody play a "studio" version of a song like that ? I'm talking about "Mona" on your "What's Next" album. It's clear to me that you were very excited singing that way. I guess when you play it live, the audience goes crazy.... Keep on rockin' Frank and come to Brazil if you had the chance. smile

smile I'm not really a rocker myself, but one particular song I heard from your Eye Of the Storm CD really touched me. It's quite difficult to hear a guitar hero showing his love for wife and children like you did. Congratulations. By the way, are there any possibility of seeing you live in Brazil ? smile

Appears being a vast perception
Frank Marino's music emulates a
certain 1960/70s era rock legend
artist, whom I will discreetly
cite abbreviated J.H., heavily
pounded erroneous by ignoramus
blaring industry critics. I am
hereby conveying absolute accurate
realization, Frank Marino's is
nothing like J.H's., anyone elses,
total unique exhilarating supreme
with timeless unwearable joy.

Frank,

First heard your music in 1975 and have been listening ever since. Saw you at a show in Baltimore at a place called The Hollywood Palace in the late 1970's and you blew me and my friends away. Have been a dedicated fan and wish you all the best. Don't stop putting out those great licks.

I just heard a reference to FM on the radio and it took me back to the late 70's and my older brothers turning me on to this "Hendrix like only better"
guy. I've only heard the live album but it left a lasting impression (being a former amateur rock star) I've been sober almost a year and was pleased to read of FM's long term sobriety. I was also pleasantly surprised to find he still tours. I'll definately look for him the next time he comes to Atlanta!

I never got to see you play live but loved your records. Our own national guitar man Wolf Mail (originally born in Canada too), mentioned you in a interview, though I would drop you a line. Any plans to tour down under?

Cheers,

Tim

Greetings,

I've been a fan since the '78 Live album came out. I just emailed Frank trying to find out how to get a new copy on CD since my vinyl has "See Thru" marks from being played so much. Does anyone have any ideas? The link on this web site leads me to Amazon which states it's not available and Frank mentioned he didn't have it.... it's on a Columbia labelangry. I can forward his message back to Willy if needed... I just want " '78 Live" again!!!!

Thanks for your help and Thanks for the Site!

Peace and Serenity,

Sam

Hi Frank and whoever designed this web site. It is quite nice and very user friendly.
It was damn hard for me to pick that favorite album part though. Live in '78 is definitely the one I've listened to the most so I chose it.
I had the pleasure of seeing Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush live with Nazareth in the late '70's or early '80's. Things are kinda fuzzy back in those days (LOL) but I've never forgotten the experience and have hoped to see it again sometime. WHERE ARE YOU?!!!! Please come out and play again. At least one visit to St. Louis anyway.
Wherever you are now. I hope you're healthy and happy and most of all still bendin' those strings. From a long, long, long time fan. Sincerely, Ron Horne Jr. P. S. Frank Marino Fuckin' rocks like no other!!!!
