It's been a real thrill to rediscover Frank and his music. I recently completed my collection with Real Live, Juggernaut, and Eye Of The Storm. When I saw on mahoganyrush.com that Frank would be touring, you can't imagine how pleased I was to see that I had a week's vacation at the same time he was playing in Chicago. My wife and I flew there from Kansas City to attend the House of Blues show. My memory of Frank's show at Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas back in the late 1970s is dim. But I'll never forget the HOB Chicago show! Incredible! What stamina and virtuosity! Thank you, Frank!

Frank what can I tell you that havn't already heard. Your show at the Grananda was incredible. Drove down the 230 miles to Dallas the see that you are still playing just as hard as you were at the 78 Texas Jam if not better. Alot has happened in my life this past year and watching you play the other night made feel that everything is going to be alright. You are trully an insperation to me. Thanks. Amazing Grace was very appropriate for all that has occured in my life recently. Thanks again and God Bless you.

"Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush Live" was one of the first "Guitar" rock albums I ever bought. My music collection, 8 tracks, cassettes, albums and now CD's is varied. But the majority is "guitar" oriented. And Frank is one of the reasons why.

He is a Master Of His Craft!! Since the 70's Ive been listening to him and others Rock my world. Making my life a "LOT" more enjoyable everyday.

Thank You Frank! You Sir are an Inspiration. I look forward to the day you come to Michigan. smile Rock On Brother, Rock On!!

I just picked up the live cd. I love it! Frank sounds better then ever. The great sounds he gets out of his guitar and the way it flows so easly. He is a true master. I've played my self for 40 years and come from the same school of rock. With the loss of Jimi and Stevie Ray. Its great to hear the vibe carry on with Frank. And he does it better then anyone. Wave on brother! Dave

Frank,

Can't believe I will be seeing you again. I have only been lucky enough to catch you once and that was at the Summer Jam in Louisville I believe in '78 with Thin Lizzy, Steve Miller Band and Foreigner. You and Thin Lizzy stole the show. Hope to meet you at the Nashville show on Monday.

Hi Frank,

It was great to see you tonite in Dallas at the Granada! You and the band were incredible...you did two things I have never seen any band do. First you played for 3 1/2 hours straight with no break, then you capped that excellent show off with Amazing Grace on guitar! Fantastic stuff. Thanks so much for playing Dragonfly...it's one of my absilute favorites!

The first time I saw you was in Dallas at the Texas Jam in 1978....been a fan since MH IV. Your guitar work has always been incredible and tonite was no exception...has to be the best show I have ever seen you perform live and I've seen you several times.

Thanks also for hanging out and meeting us after the show. Meeting and indulging fans is something of a rarity these days. Only a few bands do it and I want you to know that we really appreciate those of you who do this to no end. After playing as long as you did, then to sit down and wade through 40+ fans with signing requests with a smile on your face is nothing short of incredible.

I saw the camera running where the liquid light show was being done [which was incredible in it's own right, thanks for that, too!], I hope there's a DVD sometime soon of this tour. I'd love to own it.

One last thing, thanks for signing the ticket for my friends Ron and Susan who couldn't make it tonite. They couldn't get off work in time to make the show [they live in Louisiana]. I got over 125 pics and will burn them to a CD to send them with your autograph. I'll be signing up on the forum soon to share the pics with you & your fans.

Thanks again for a great show! We'll see you next time around!!

Growing up in the 70's and early 80's; rock guitarist legends were my only heros and my only aspiration was to be a so-called rock musician/star. I picked up the instrument relatively easily and began to emulate the greats, like Hendrix, Eddie V., Angus Y., Alex L., Rick E., and Jimmy P. , to name a few but one fateful day, i managed to catch a concert broadcast on our local provincial publicly supported television channel. i was absolutely mesmorized! I anxiously waited until the end of the broadcast and watched every credit trying to figure out what phenomena i had just witnessed. As you've probably guessed, it was Frank Marino and Mahagony Rush. Afterwhich, i immediately ran out to the local record stores and bought up everything i could find by the group. I've been in awe ever since and have annoyingly converted many a friend to my cause. Mr. Frank Marino, you are my favorite guitarist without exception. Your talent, your ability and the incredible passion and bluesy feel you inject into songs are surpassed by noone. Thank you for the incredible joy you have giving me over the years when I listen to your licks. Cheers and best of luck.

It was really hard to pick a favorite album, I LOVE all of them. It was back in the seventies that I saw you at Wings Stadium in Kalamazoo MI, it was the best concert that I ever saw. You and Jimi inspired me to pick up the guiltar. Thanks !

Well Frank, it has all been said but I'll say it again - YOU ARE THE KING of ROCK, PAST PRESENT AND FUTURE.

I have had the jaw dropping chance to see you live twice in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the last 4 years or so. I moved here to Nashville 2 years ago and almost drove all the way to Chicago last year to catch you a third time but alas didn't make it. I didn't know you toured this far south and when i first heard last week you were hitting Nashville I was in rock and roll heaven again.

Immediatly bought 8 tickets and started calling my new friends here. Back in Wisconsin I did the same thing and most I asked to go said "FRANK WHO?". I talked them into going and everyone was amazed and agreed they had seen the greatest show in their life.

Looking forward to showing you off to my new friends here in Nashville the 30th at the Mercy Lounge. I hope you open with that 15 minute VOODOO CHILE, my friends will pee their pants.

I just saw Frank in concert in Santa Cruz! It was a great show, and it was a long time coming since the last time I had seen him was 20 years ago in Chicago at The China Club.

Frank, I have been a fan since high school. Saw you play once in Amarillo, Texas and really liked your style of hot rod guitar. I am a 55'er and have been playng guitar for about 30 years or better, sober now for 16+ years, and I too started out as a drummer. I am excited about meeting you and getting a guitar lesson this Thursday at the Dallas show. See ya soon. If you want to make a meeting in Dallas, call me. I sit in with Clapton every time he comes to Dallas. =JayM=214-405-5021

I had the pleasure of listening to the band at the Belly Up in Solana Beach the other night. In a word...Mezmorizing! Frank's amazing skill is only surpassed by his incredibly warm persona! We had the opportunity to visit backstage and was so impressed with his warmth, candor and kindness. He is an Artist that is true to his craft. He told me that it doesn't matter if there are two or twenty thousand in the audience, he plays the same three plus hour set because he loves to play...that simple! If he's playing within a few hundred miles of your town...get there! You'll be glad you did! Thanks Frank!
