Hi. I am just discovering your music now. I always liked Dragonfly from back in high school, but I never heard any of your other material. I recently purchased one of your live cd's, and was very impressed...so much so that I bought tickets to your Sellersville, PA concert on Oct 6th. It was one of the best concerts I have seen in a long time! The sound was good, and the guitar playing was awsome. I miss the 70's music. The musicians were much better back then...thanks for reminding me how good it use to be. I hope you return to the Philadelphia area again in the not-too-distant-future. Thanks again for a great show...

Hey Frank, I saw you october 3rd at jaxx and tonight october 8 at rams head in annapolis, Md and you were awesome. I took some pictures of you and you even took one with me. That was a awesome night for me and I wanted to say Thank You!! I am the one who gave you the picture frame for thanks of being so cool to the fans. I gave you this thinking maybe you should sell these kinds of things. I think the fans would love to have a piece of history and a nice memory to take home with them. My number is on the back If you need anything else and I would love to see your last show but not sure If I can make it (Too Far). well Frank I just wanted to let you know that us as fans love to hear you play and I personaly would like to see you get all your rights to your songs back someday and maybe selling things like this would help. I would love to hear your songs on the radio also. If there is a way I could help please feel free to call me my number is on the back. Thanks again Joe Martin

Hi Frank. I first saw you LIVE in 1980 @ the Omni in Atlanta where you were part of the "Rock And Roll Marathon" tour. I loved the line up which consisted of the bands Angel, Mahogany Rush, Humble Pie, and Mother's Finest. I will never forget that magical moment when I first (and only) time I saw your band. WOW!!! I remember asa kid watching Don Kirshners Rock Concert seeing you do your stuff. Theres no one like you on the guitar Frank. I can't wait ti see you in Atlanta. PEACE...

Saw you and the band at Sellersville last night ,,and I was stunned....It was if I never heard a guitar played before,,NEVER like that!! You were amazing..Voodoo Child and Amazing Grace will always be in my head!! I have seen alot of great guitarists, but you just hit the top, my friend.Jimi Hendrix had nothing on you.. As a guy said sitting next to me,,"He's an alien, he plays out of this world"..I said "No, not alien...Canadian!!" Keep it up Frank. It was also a great honor to meet you and shake the hand that plays the guitar like no one else. God Bless the talent and music He gave you. Thanks for sharing it with us all. Can't wait for another album soon. (PS.I still have an 8 track tape of "World Anthem" at home from 1977. No player anymore, but the memories still are fresh in my ears. Happy 35th Anniversary!!!)

Frank,
Caught you Thursday night at the House of Blues in Atlantic City. What an outstanding show it was.
Your rendition of Red House was amazing.
My older brother took me to see you in 1975 at the Roxy theater in Northampton Pa. and I've been a fan ever since.

I have been a fan ever since I bought a copy of Mahogany Rush IV. Unfortunately I never got to see him 'til Oct. 2005 at the Sterling Hotel Rock Room.A crapy little room with an ok sound system jammed with fans that drove for miles to be there.Frank came out and just smoked. One year later he's back again , this time at The Sellersville Theatre.A little , old fashioned theatre that was standing room only. His passion for playing is evident in the way he plays and it draws you into an almost hypnotic state. He is by far one of the great players of all time...............................Bz

Fuckin' A!! Just saw Mahogany Rush at the Sellersville Theater last night. WOW! Holy fuckin' shit and any other expletive you care to add. The band was so tight. They smoked. Frank is an absolute fountain of riffs, licks and killer tone. I've never seen anything like Frank Marino live onstage, and I've been playing guitar for 35 years myself. What a great feeling I had all night during the show, and when I got home, I was so fired up from the concert I just had to pick my SG and get the Marshalls goin', to blazes with my neighbors ; although no cops showed up so I guess I'm ok with the neighbors. What an inspiration that show was. Thanks for all of the hard work that Frank and the band have obviously put in--no one could lay it down like that without tons of work. Thanks so much.

Much Love,

Glenn McKee

Frank, the Sellersville, PA.(10/06/06) show was amazing. I've seen most of the great guitar players past and present. That show was as good as anything that I've seen live for 30 years. You blew the roof off of that place tonight. After over 2 1/2 hours of straight electric jamming, how could we ask for an encore. You are only human...or are you?

I have been a fan for a long time. Frank Marino is the greatest guitar player of all time. I live in Portland, Or and was checking out the tour dates and there are none for us fans in the Pacific N.W. We miss you Frank and need to see you here. Will you consider giving us a show? Isn't it all about the music and us fans? Have a great tour and hope to see you here in Portland, Or.

For some reason I didn't make it to PA in the late 70's to see Frank - maybe I was grounded? - things are a bit hazy from that time. I wasn't going to deprive myself 25+ years later. Last year I brought my husband and 12 & 15 year old sons to BB Kings to see Frank. Blew us all away. Just did that again 2 nights ago, sans kids (16 year old was grounded and very pissed off, but I called during Voodoo Chile so he could listen- ha ha). Three hours of pure, blistering music from the master. Frank is the ONLY musician that my husband & I would close our business for, drive 2 hours, happily pay $17.00 for a burger & $8.00 for a beer & drag ass for the remainder of the week. Can't wait 'til next time!!!

i have enjoyed frank marino's muzes since thru the haze of bowling green ky in the early 70s. mahogany rush was one of the few in the rotation on the record player. we had a old Singer portable stero record player we would take out to the middle of the farm and crank up the rush. it was wonderful. good times.

frank, thanks for being a wonderful part of the real rock n roll. i wish you the best and much happiness. read in your site that reason for the name "mahogany rush" was as rumored. (one of the few apparently). in ky we had a wonderful orange barrel that lead to the sensation we called a barrel roll.

i am traveling from kentucky to mobile ala to see the 35th tour. i can't wait.

Just recovered from last night's show at BB Kings in NYC.
Three hours of non-stop Marino, WHOAAA !!!
First saw Frank at the Palladium in his first NYC gig. Must of been 30 years ago. (Yes Frank, I was the shmuck who tried to pass you a joint in the front row.)
Well let me tell you folks, HE'S GOTTEN BETTER.
Super versatility. Last night I didn't just hear old standards; I heard jazz, folk, southern-rock, KICK-ASS blues and Acid-Classical. (Trower who?)
If you're gonna see one guitar virtuoso in your life, make it Frank Marino.
See ya next time Frank.
