I first saw Frank play in the 70's. St. Clair College in Windsor Ont. and University of Windsor. I will never forget the feeling that I was witnessing something really special. On the order of a radical thunderstorm or nature enforcing her authority on man.
His music inspired me as I gigged across Canada and the States myself and now as I help bring musical tools to musicians so that others can go to those places that words can't describe. Thanks for coming back Frank and helping me remember that stuff.

Frank,

Isn't it so perplexing how the music you churned out so many years ago now appears in mainstream "metal" by artists claiming that theirs is an original thought. My God.... the world owes you a debt un repayable.

Your music and insight are legendary. I just want to thank you for staying true to the art. Your name must somehow be listed up there with the likes of Robert Fripp and other guitar visionaries.

CHEERS!

winkWe just had a chance to hear one of your songs played on the radio. I, Wally, felt like I was back in the early 70's. Being the same age as Frank and after reading the autobiography of Frank, I realized that I missed him somehow growing up and now find his music easy on the ears.

My son Tyler is 14 yrs. old and he enjoys the guitar works.

Hope to hear more and will be looking for your music in the stores.

coolThank you for phenomenial musicianship.which is greatly appreciated,
compared to what they call music today. It is so refreshing to hear
talent instead of shallow uninspiring drivel .Keep kickin ass and will you
be touring in upstate new york anytime soon. It would be great to hear
a real guitar player! I have just heard some pat travers on the radio
today and it made me think mahogney rush. Knowing that both of
you are Canadians and exceptional musicians, it was a breath of fresh
air to hear some real rock-n-roll! Thank you Shawn Bond

When I was growing up I happened just by chance to stumble across Frank Marino's music getting his Frank Marino live album. I was immediately hooked. His Electric Reflections of War blew me away. King Bee,Johnny Be Good etc just kept me wanting more. From then on I purchased all Frank's albums(vinyl) and kept them until a house fire claimed them in late 1987. I have attempted to gain back those precious albums and have been up against a brick wall. They are very hard to find. Now I am trying to get the CD collection going. I'm glad I found this web site for info on what Frank is doing and the possibility of seeing him play live is now hopefully in the cards. smile

Simply put, you are one of the best. What's missing in my transition to CD's from LP's is a "good" recording of "What's Next" in digital form. Any chance of that happening? Looking forward to new music, and your presence live. Thanks for the vibe, and Peace!

Greetings Frank,

Having just discovered your wonderful music within this past year, I am still quite overwhelmed at the fact that someone's guitar playing could actaully impress me at this point in my life. Having become jaded after only 23 years and hearing what I thought was EVERY virtuoso guitarist, I picked up your first "LIVE" album back in the summer of 2005, and my young life (nor my own guitar playing), has not been the same since.
I think the live "Dragonfly" solo is probably the single most euphoric musical experience I've EVER had! And I appreciate that greatly.
You are one of a kind.
"Real Live" is excellent, (the perfect cruising album), and I look forward to discovering the rest of your back catalog someday.

God Bless,
Garrett Walker
