Love your music, always have! I am a Public Radio D J, so I actually get a chance to get it on the air. Also we share the same birthday- November 20., (Joe Walsh and Duane Allman RIP too.) My husband has many of your albums and we play them frequently. Thanks for all the good years of high quality entertainment !

Frank,

Your music is so beautiful, what else can be said?
I hope you can make it to the U.S. this year, and if possible, to Texas.
It was hard for me to pick a favorite album, I have several (What's Next, Real Live, Juggernaut, Mahogany Rush IV and Strange Universe come to mind, too).
I was a teenager when I saw you live in San Antonio TX (1986...wow, 20
years goes by FAST!). You and your band were amazing. I remember y'all
really had the audience going. It was awesome, I will never forget it.
Thanks for all the beautiful music over the years. God Bless!

I was so choked that neither Mr. Marino nor Mr. Travers merited a mention on the recent CBC rockumentary "Shakin' All Over" that I went stright to my LP library and dug out all the vinyl I own from both and proceed to ramp up the Rega turntable and commence to playing some tunes!!!
And I mostly listen to "Classical" music these days. (being over the half century mark allows me to expand my listening horizons more than when I was young.)
But I never give up on the really good players. Good is good, no matter what the genre. And Frank, you are one of the gooduns!!

Frank,

I remember the first time I heard your music. It was Strange Dreams
(still my favorite) and it was on a CBS cassette called Metalmania.
I realized at that time that it was music on a level far beyond anything
commercial crap could ever come near. I also remember being in San
Quentin prison(an obviously angry and racially divided place) and meeting
a man who saw you live and was in awe still. The look on his face when he
talked about it was so animated; so overwhelmed. It sparked a long
conversation about other songs you did. This may not sound like a big deal
to some, but consider the fact that the man I am talking about was black.
Not that people of other colors cant enjoy your music, but the fact that in
a crappy place, in a time when almost everyone seems to listen hip hop,
and the fact that in prison you wouldnt usually see men of opposite color having such an in depth discussion. But we agreed on one thing for sure:
You kick ass Frank.

Thanks

Thanks so much for responding to my e-mail! You are the most "in-tune" with your fans, than any other musician I've ever come in contact with. When I get my new Gibson SG Supreme this year, I'll be trying hard to contact you again, and per your agreement with me, to have you lay your autograph down upon it. Even if I have to fly myself up from Florida to Montreal, and drive to your studio, I'd gladly pay for such a trip! I'd love to have a photo of you and that SG if it would be possible? It is an honor to listen to your musical gifts and to have followed you all these years (since 1978). You have been and will forever be special to me, one of only a small handful of my favorite rock guitarists. You inspire and motivate me to learn more and play harder with my guitars. BTW, I'm "turning-on" as many of my fellow sailors I can to your musical works, that are here with me in Kuwait in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and I've passed along your kind words along to many of them. God Bless, and keep on rockin!

This is one hell of a great site. My friends and I listened to "Tales of the Unexpected" for 1500 miles going on our senior trip in a school bus, that was back in 1980. Man the years have flown by. Take care Frank, and put out a new CD as soon as you can. Thanks again for all the great times.

Frank What can I say man you are a insperation to us all . Eddie Who.. LOL!! Not even close my friend! There are only 3 other guitar players out there that are alive and worthy of being called true guitar players besides you as #1 and they are Joe Satriani, Pat Travers , Warren Haynes Not to say the rest are bad by any means so dont flame out on me guys. But In my book thats the list. That would be THE show of a life time. I would drive , swim, crawl , climb, sell body parts, eat fire, get divorced , and listen to Tiny Tim on 11 with head phones for a day to catch that show ! ..... well not the Tiny Tim thing ... thats a bit much ... crazy I.m not gonna say come here, or try to make it there .. But I'll try to make the show where ever its closest so that way I wont lay a guilt trip on you. Hows that. Looking forward to the 06 list ,
Play hard and Rest well . You have mail.

I've already emailed Frank but I will be more than happy to scream to the world how talented he is ,he is the greatest guitar player that I have ever heard,he does remind me of Hendrix, but better! He plays with his heart and alot of soul! I really dig that in a musician, to make me feel what he is feeling is a great gift! Thank you so much !

Frank I first heard you in 1976, and to this day your the sole reason I play guitar. My first was a Gibson SG. I now have been playing for 30 years and still am amazed at your tone and style. I just picked up the new remastered discs and am amazed at the production. Excellent job. I'm really looking forward to seeing you this year.

I just ordered the "child of novelty/maxoom/strange universe" CD from Amazon.com
I have not heard strange universe since I was 13 years old but I love it! I listened to it again on this website and it took me back (I am 45 years old now). I want to turn my teenage daughter on to the music I listened to growing up, I think she will love this CD too. I have so many great memeories of your music, you are the best guitarist I know of next to Jimi Hendrix. I am so glad I found this website, you can't find Strange Universe in any store now. My music collection would be incomplete without it. Rock on!
