Top of the tops. I've seen you live 33 times from the early seventies in high schools to areneas and other clubs currently... Will you ever play in Windsor again? I only ask because of the unfortunate Canada Tavern incident... There are alot of FMAMR fans in this area and if done the right way (like the previous years Diamonds gig, which was a SELL OUT) I know you'd get the support you deserve!
P.S. I sincerely wish you and your familes the best health and wishes for 2006 and beyond... DVD's pleeeese...

Frank, have to tell you that you have been a huge inspiration to me in my own playing, and certainly one of my favorite musicians of all time. If I can try to distill the most important elements of what you do that I have found so inspirational, is your ability to burn with passion, speed, amazing articulation, your sense of rhythm, and never loosing the passion. Juggernaut is the perfect word for what I hear when I listen to your live performances. It was your early live album that initially drew me in, I have not heard its equal to this day for what it is. There is a certain ferocity to the performance that transcends the years. Guitar music and guitar technique has been evolving and there are a lot of great players with monstrous licks and chops, and without drawing broad strokes of critique about contemporary players, Frank's playing exudes emotion, passion, and spirit that speaks, it's fire in the belly stuff. So many other players performances could be communicated accurately through sheet music, but not Frank, what he delivers can't be articulated on paper. That's the magic that so few players have, that's what makes Frank so great, and I feel very fortunate that I can distinguish the difference. Carry on, Sir.

Thank you Frank for the good music!
I am also a big fan of Jim and Paul`s work. The way the 3 of you play together on the guitarsolo, on the track "go strange" is moore than fantastic.
Where can I read moore about Paul Harwood? Did he use a pick?
I have been a fan since 1980, and one of my dreams is to see Frank Marino, live on the stage. Any chance you are comming to Norway?

Arild

hi frank, saw you way back at the santa monica civic with priest opening. to say you blew me away is an understatement. i think my crap was on my seat when i left the arena. how much of an impression did you leave on me? put it this way ,i once saw mclaughlin sitting indian style with shakti in robes, literally playing the shit out of his guitar while meditating between songs. it was unbeleivable to say the least but witnessing you was just as intense ,dare i say maybe more so..theres only 3 guitar players that to me mean anything hendrix, mclaughlin, and my favorite which is you sir. i myself am a professional guitar player who has played with tony orlando. tony featured me on blues stuff like steamroller. i was amazed that i would get standing ovations sometimes. well i owe it all to you mr.marino. people would tell me how good i am. pulleez. i also gotta laugh at all these famous pathetic meatball guitarists who get all the props.. shit man,if you accidentally chopped off your fingers except for your pinky, youd blow their doors off! god i hope you come out west in 06 your biggest fan ,dean rossi

Hey now everyone... I got all the love and admiration for this truly blest and gifted individual known as Frank Marino, as all you do. Mahogany Rush, All the love to you too! You're ALL so Awesome!!! My sons Mother and I had the priveledge to catch him play in a Ventura theater back in 92'. He was so worth watching!!! The 3 garage bands who opened up fpr him were the reason I drank $150 of alcohol. I don't normally drink either. He blew doors! I have drummed and loved drums and drummers since I was born and I remember as drunk as I was, his drummer,a blond guy that reminded me of zack wild before he turnd into a troll; was so bad ass I was air drumming and couldn't take my eyes off him even though Frank Marino was my idol! His drummer was and I'm sure still is the bomb! Thank you Mr. Marino for making one of my life long dreams come true. E.O.

I havejust recently discovered your music. I'm 35 yrs old and have listened to Hendrix, Clapton, Page, SRV and the other masters all along. But when I heard "He's Calling" on Christian Metal Radio; I was floored!!! I stopped what I was doing immediately. I had to find out who was playing that fantastic music!! I checked the playlist, jotted down your name, and made a frantic search on the net to find you. Needless to say I was surprised to see you had been recording since '73; but I had never heard of you?!? I have since purchased EYE OF THE STORM, REAL LIVE, and DRAGONFLY: BEST OF FM & MH (which I purchased at the R-N-R HALL OF FAME). I just wanted to let you know that you sir are truly gifted from God. And that I admire that you don't shy away from the origins of your gift and your faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ. Not many famous people do that. I think that you are (in my humble opinion, if it counts much) arguably the greatest guitar player living on this planet right now. Also I think (with much arguments from non-fans) that you belong in the top 5 of all-time. Well, I have taken up more that enough space. My wife and I are looking forward to seeing you play live in 2006. Keep on rocking and God bless you, brother.

The first time I saw Frank was in the early seventies at University of Cincinnatis Football ball field in an all day concert. I have been a fan ever since and was dissappointed that I never got to see him on the 2005 tour and hope that he tours more and please come back to Cincinnati

I have some pictures from the Louisville Summer Jam that I will send to the site
Thanks
Brian
P. S. I threw a 1/2 bag of straw gold to you in Dayton at the Victory Theater
