Hey man I never got to see u and your band play .. I am a Hendrix fan since he passed but right after that I heard you and thought it was him and started to listen to your message. I read in a magazine that you were going to play again last year. I live in Cali still but i am a truck driver. cannot get into Canada to hear you play with the rig but i travel 48 states. the website does not have this years peformances listed so I was wonderning if you can send me a list where you will be playing so I can check it out. Good to here you are back on the scene. Stay focused. I use to mess around with the guitar. still have my strat but i broke my hand and cannot play as good as i used to. but still play. take it one day at a time. Peace8

Mr Marino:

I have been a fan of your music since the first time I listened to Cal Jam and King Bee !!!!!!!!!! At 52 I still hook up the headphones and ride on the wild side. Would love to see you make Jazz Fest @ Sioux Falls S.D. some year. I'd camp out for a month to hear King Bee live.

Hello Mr. Marino,

Enjoyed the music thoroughly my brother in law introduced it to me
on the way home from vacation. I had to have it so my husband got it for me and now i listen to at my leisure when no-ones home drinking wine.
Thanksfor the many warm and intoxicating sounds and melodies they go hand and hand.

I been having a hard time finding your work. I finally stopped at coconuts music store & found eye of the storm, yesterday I decided to see if they had anything else. When i walked in they asked what I was looking for so I told them. At first they told me your work was out of print, which I must say did not make my day but I said I would look any way. Then I'm told they had two items, one was eye of the storm & real live. So I took my last twenty & bought real live. And I'm damn happy I did, it is great.

Frank,
Have always enjoyed your music.
I had the opportunity years ago when you played in Corpus Christi, Texas. I was the chef at the local Holiday Inn where you were staying. I had the pleasure of meeting you in the restaurant. You were also kind enough to get me into your show as a guest. Will never forget that jesture.
Do you foresee coming to the Houston area in the near future?
Best of luck!

Johann

I will never forget the first time I heard the Child of Novelty album, not to mention the first time I saw the cover graphics (right out of a Bosch painting!). It split my head wide open, but in a different way than how Jimi's song, "Are You Experienced?" did when I first heard it. We were absolutely devoted to you, and actually covered your version of Purple Haze in our garage band in Hawaii. Your comment regarding the negativism and hate of today's generation is so true. Will peace and love prevail? Probably not on this earth among tribes and nations, but in the individual hearts of those that live it, and not preach it to cloak their true intentions. Frank, I think Jimi is smliing upon you! Keep livin', keep creating, we need you!! love

» Location: Kansas » Favorite Album: Juggernaut
I first heard Frank play on Strange Universe. I bought every album since then, but consider Juggernaut to be his best. The mastery of his SG constantly shines along with his song writing and performing.
Juggernaut was one of the soundtracks to my senior year in high school and inspired me to play nothing but the SG with humbuckers through Marshalls.
I'm 41 now, and still listen in awe.
Thanks Frank!!
There are alot of your fans out there is wanting more.

At 45 years old, I thought I knew all the music of the rock icons from the 60s and 70s, but I never really caught onto Frank Marino and Mahagony Rush. That is until now. Man, how your music takes me back to another time.

Since high school in the '70s when I started buying albums, there's always been some MR in the collection. Strange Uni; World Anthem etc.....

I work in radio and some younger turks are picking up on XM, specifically Deep Tracks. They ask me, the old timer, "Who is the Frnak Marino dude? Can he wail or what?"

I smile, nod my head and say "See him live. Bring your drool bucket since your mouth will be open the whole timeohmy
