Hey Frank! I'm 42 and been listening to your music since '81.
When i first heard Juggernaut i was hooked . From then on
i purchased your entire repitoire . The young mtv brainwashed
generation of today have no clue what there missing in
Mahogany Rush , Blackmores Rainbow,UFO , Uriah Heep,
BOC , Triumph, April Wine....ect . It was a time when Hard
Rock had heart and brains . This so called "rock" today
occupied by these unshowered looking freakbags is
heartless and braindead ! Keep on rockin Frank! You'll
live forever on my stereo speakers baby ! What i'm
listening too today: Frank Marino "Full Circle" in my
home CD player , Ian Hunter on my turntable , and
Deep Purple "live in Sweden '93" , and Kansas
"somewhere to elsewhere" in my car stereo. KEEP
IT TRUEROCK N ROLL!

Frank, coming to this web site has brought back TONS of memories. From the time i heard the Live (1978) CD i was amazed at your guitar playing and the fact that you play a SG, my favorite guitar. I have search high and low and can't seem to find any of your CD's in my local area. I know where i can find them now ! keep on rocking and if your ever inclined to ,please pay us a visit at http://everythingsg.com The ONLY site on the net dedicated to the Gibson SG. Check out my site as well ! you will see that i'm an SG lover like you !

Any plans to play NYC in the near future? I caught a show several years ago at the now defunct Club Bene in Sayreville, NJ. It was incredible...and LONG! I would like to see another. Thanks

Salut Frank!

Frank, my man! You Rock-n-Roll... You play the hell out of your guitar!!! You're the best Rock-n-Blues guitarist in the world!!! Never stop jamming, please, for the sake of man kind... Keep Rocking...!!! I own everything you've ever recorded, I saw you live in Oklahoma with Tim Biery on drums! Damn that guy rocks...!!! I play a black Fender Strat. I'm still a work in progress. You've been one of my greatest inspirations that has motivated me to grow and improve musically and most importantly to live life to the fullest, follow my dreams and to Rock Out-n-Roll On...! I'm listening to "Johnny B. Goode" live as I type this and yes, It jams...!
Thank You Mr. Frank Marino for your contributions to music, entertainment and for your ingenious ability and your pure, unique and overwhelming inspiration that has stirred the spirit and ignited the imagination of everyone who has ever heard you play the guitar. You have now been "Knighted" "First Knight" at the "Guitar Players Round Table." There will always be a chair for you at the round table Frank Marino. You are truly an Honorable "Knight of Rock-n-Roll." Rock-Out Frank, Roll-On…!

Happy New Year to Frank, Band , families and fans.
I would like to encourage fans in the central Ohio area to start calling Qfm 96 and requesting that they play Franks stuff.
Emails and letters to the program director would also help.
I'd start an online petition but I don't know how.
The Qs # is 614-821-9696.This may help Frank get some much deserved exposure and who knows maybe theQ will sound a little more like it used to.A good time to call in those requests is during the classic rock request hour weekdays at 1:00. Encourage the d.j. to mention Franks website on air.How nice would that be!?! Then fans could find Franks albums and join the community.
PEACE
MS
Ps. Frank, would love to hear from you on the letters from Frank section.

So glad that this web site exists.
Frank Marino is beyond a doubt one of the best that has ever played the instrument.

Merry Christmas to Frank, Band and Families of same.
Frank, hope you read these things because I want to thank you for "Eye of The Storm". It seems like you, Jeff Beck and Adrian Belew are the only guitar players left who are willing to take risks. To be true to the vision you are gifted with. The world needs musicians like you. Please keep moving.Keep recording. And please play Columbus Ohio.

I was born in 1959 and with the help of an older brother developed a taste for hard guitar rock and roll at an early age. I still remember what i was doing when Jimi Hendrix died. My first concert ticket was a Christmas gift from my brother in 1973 to see Blue Oyster Cult, Captain Beyond, Rare Earth And REO Speedwagon. At 15, i remember going on a roadtrip with my brother to visit family in another state and listening to Mahogany Rush, Led Zepplin, and Black Sabbath on "8-track". My first car was a "66 Mustang w/AM radio. My first paycheck bought an 8-track tape deck and Mahogany Rush/Child of the Novelty tape(I already had the album). My fondest memory of my Senior Prom was "partying" with my best friend and our girlfriends listening to Mahogany Rush. By age 18, i had a record/tape collection of over 150. Today, i still have every album i ever bought plus over 600 CDs. Mahogany Rush- Child of the Novelty and IV are among my top 5 Favorites. Music is a very strong trigger for key memories from ones past...Thanks for the memories!
