I have so much to say about Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush, it's hard to put it into words. From the moment I heard Makin My Wave and Changin on the Child o the Novelty album it shifted me into yet another gear in my already warp drivin youth. I'm 47 yrs. old now and grew up on Robin Trower, Hendrix, Santana, Johnny Winter and Frank Marino. When I was growing up kids wanted to be guitar GODS legends of Rock. I saw Frank Marino on Midnight Special or Don Kirshners Rock concert and was blown away by the technique and energy a true devoted fan forever I am. He's also largely responsible for transforming me from air guitar to the real thing. Every time I looked at a Guitar I said his notes are in there somewhere. I'm glad that he's a surviver of the time when lots of high profile rockers were self destructing in different ways. I hope that he is rewarded with a long productive life for giving so many people joy and imagination through his music.

Frank I love ya man: Keep on Rockin Hard & Heavy.

Hey Frank, I recently started instaling HIGH SPEED INTERNET for customers and after I provision the modem and I notice the costomer is a rock/blues fan I check connectivity by going to mahog.com and down load the temporary mp3 player and show them a few of my favorite tunes like MAYBE IT,S TIME, RUNNIN WILD, LOVED BY YOU, or LAND OF A THOUSAND NITES, no problem with my employer as I know my customers. I HOPE YOU APROVE OF YOUR NEW TRAVELING BUILDBOARD. ps. I can,t wait till you make it through ST.LOUIS again, as my dear old Marinohead friend Mark Baumgartner whom turned me on to you in 1980 with the live album and I,ve lost contact with told me to meet him at any Marino concert here. He,s definately a diehard musicman so I,m sure he will be there. Peace man and thanx 3Fingers and Wild Willy for always being there and making this possible. FAR OUT MAN !

Hey Frank... I was just talking about your guitar playing to the guys in my band the other week. I'm looking around for new venues to find you playing at the custom bike show later in the year.

Its good to know you are still playing... I've not heard anything about you in quite a few years...

Keep rocking and hope hear some stuff soon!

I am 45 years old and I will always be a huge fan. My son is 18 and I made him a fan several years ago. I have played your music till there is ruts in my cd's. I saw Mahogany Rush 3 times in the 70's( the greatest era in rock history!) My favorite show was in Lexington Ky., where I still live. I think it was either 1977 or 1978 but I really can't be sure. I have been clean now for 25 years but everything before that is a little sketchy when it come to dates. I know you were a playing before Kansas. I met with a group of people at a party before the concert. Everyone was excited to see Kansas. Not me! I garunteed everyone there that after the show we would meet and they would agree that Mahogany Rush would blow Kansas away. Trust me I was a prophet that night. You should have been the headliner. I listen to the music today and it still make me feel good just like it did in the 70's. I think the sign of great music is the way it affects your life in youth and stays with you always without diminishing. You have accomplished that for me. Thank you so much! Will you be touring again close to Lexington or Louisville? Sorry this took so long but I have been waiting 27 years to say it. Also do you have any apparel such as T-shirts or hats for purchasing? I would love to find some.

Frank, I've been meaning to apologize to you for Detroit for 2+ years. You played a gig at the Magic Bag in Ferndale & flat TORE UP the place. I was goin' nuts, but the overage bikers and whoever else it was that shouldn't have been there were for some unknown reason not giving you your due. You didn' t even do an encore (if you had the strength left for one), and I figured you felt--and justly so--underappreciated. Your show that night was the best show I have *ever* seen by a "solo" electric guitar artist, and I've seen some giants. I thank you, on behalf of all of the people in the Detroit metro area who know great rock when they hear it, for that fantastic show. If you ever come back around here, we'll be there.

Hello!
I saw Frank Live at the Hollywood Sportatorium in Hollywood, FL when he recorded the Live (1978) albumn. It was one of the best concerts I ever attended! If you listen really hard, you can hear me yelling in the background, in between songs.
The funny part was that I was tripping my balls off on mushrooms and I thought Frank was an English dude, with the English accent and all that English stuff. At least that what I heard ! ! ! (the srooms were great).
I'm really glad to hear the Frank is continuing to play and get the musical message out to the people who can really hear the message, not just the noise part.
Cheers! Kevin C Kelly, here in Orlando, FL

Hey Frank,

Love your playing, recently saw you for the first time (on a illegal DVD ...) and I'm very impressed by the Real Live CD. For me, an official DVD and then I'm totally happy !!! For example level the Dream Theater Budokan DVD, because Frank, you deserve only the best quality !!!
WHAT ABOUT A TOUR IN EUROPE, YOU HAVEN'T BEEN IN HOLLAND SINCE 22-04-83, AND I'VE MISSED THAT ... so please, I want to see you play live, only if it's once in a REAL/LIVE time !!!

Greetings, Eric
